>>42355387I love her!
>>42355387EEEEYYYY we are SO back!I love wet Luna on a beach!I love the idea of building sand castles with her. Just imagine... Luna and Tia are probably over 1500 years old... and yet they find joy in the simplest of filly activities and just being silly... I love thatSometimes when I walk back from work (its about 20min walk) I imagine Luna walking beside me and we talk. There isnt realy any people on that route so I often get carried away with talking and waving my hands when explaining stuff to her, I like to even imagine her moves, how she walks, her reactions, and try to "see" her with my "imaginative eye"We often talk about technology, as I think she would realy be into trying to understand electricity and stuff after being gone for 1000 years. Last time we talked about how people used to generate light over the years, before that I told her about telephones, switchboards and tube amplifiers...She is a bit autistic and so I am so I like to imagine we would both be interested in stuff like this... and I would love to learn stuff like the inner-workings of magic from her..Too bad she is just my imagination and so I cant realy learn anything new from her...sadpone.jpgMaybe one day... I leave this world, go to Equestria and can actually talk to my Moonbutt... my love

What is your favorite scenario of meeting Moonbutt? I think for me it would be through some job done around Canterlot. Perhaps that's why the archiver anon in Horsa's green felt close to my heart.inb4 cheeky janitoranon sweeps the princess off her hooves
>>42360573Moonlight Veiled is definitely unique, I'm a big fan.Though I like leaning more into Luna's dreamwalking abilities. The subconscious mind is fascinating, and Anon coming from somewhere beyond her realm with all these foreign experiences would definitely get her attention.I'm also working on a green of my own with this premise
>>42360573I don't know about the specifics, but I like the idea of meeting her soon after she returns from the moon. Both of us being new to (the) Equestria (of that time) might give us something to bond over. >>42360728>spoilerYou've got me excited now, Anon. Your green sounds interesting.
>>42360728>SpoilerGood, 'cause while I'm getting out a few hundred words per shift with D&N, I've also been writing a proper prose fanfic set at the very start of the same universe. Today, I also started writing a big scene for the crossover fanfic that started this whole mess in my head. This may be out of nowhere, but have any of you read the Eisenhorn series by Dan Abnett?
>>42360728>>42361054I also prefer meeting her early on, but meeting her through a dream is interesting too.
>>42355555Royal quints, anon. Checked.
>>42360573Most definitely dreams, and then seeking each other out.
What are the chances of Luna appearing in the mlp movie?Something tells me she has a 99% chance of being the villain, it just feels like it.
>>42364102I hope she doesn't appear at all. They'll ruin her character. In fact, if there is a plan for a movie I hope it utterly falls through and the movie is never made.
>>42364102Why would she be a villain? Unless it's a remake of G4 in movie form, events of S1E1-2 included, I don't see a reason why she would be cast as an evil character. What's much more probable in my opinion is that they'll forget about her (again) or intentionally trim the cast and just focus on Mane 6 with Celestia as the sole ruler. Basically retcon Celestia having a sister in the first place. I'm leaning towards the latter scenario due to the previous g4 movie being criticized for having too many characters.
>>42360728Her dreamwalking into an anon's mind is more likely than a freak accident teleporting him to Equestria. Unfortunately, my own green's idea is making the Elements teleport him on purpose. :^)
Haven't seen the moon recently. Kinda sad.
>>42364102I suspect she will show up in like one or two scenes for a cumulative total of less than 10 seconds, and have no dialogue. I'll be happier with that than if they actually focus on her and fuck it up (which would be inevitable).
>>42365867It's been overcast where I am, but I can see the moon shine brightly through the clouds.
>>42355555May your life be long and prosperous, your autism strong, and your ticket to Equestria secured.

Why are we so bad at keeping our thread alive? Is /moon/ just cursed?
>>42369619Not enough of us to keep off page 10 reliably.A sad truth.
>>42369619Moonbutt isn't like her sister, she's about being slow and steady, like her thread!
>>42355555>and I would love to learn stuff like the inner-workings of magic from her. Here, read about "real" magic and ask her about ithttps://www.goodreads.com/book/show/34234.Wizards_and_Witcheshttps://libgen.li/ads.php?md5=1f52741a1c2bbde79b4cd0febf2cae89The Enchanted World series is a bunch of really cool compendiums about magic, myths, and folklore. I've been skimming through some of them off of my mom's shelf after it was dumped on her by my grandma and it's super interesting. They were also made in the 80's so it's not pozzed or anything, so it gives pretty authentic retellings of these stories. They're a little tricky to find links to all of them but the libgen one I provided is the first book and legit.Lmao, I got excited about talking about these books I forgot halfway through I'm on /mlp/ and not /lit/ or /his/. Anyways, happy daydreaming!
>>42369619I take it personally that I've never understood her well enough to post well thought-out posts in her thread, she deserves and needs those. I wonder if that's an issue with me (I could say the same about other ponies), or if it's a curse of a pony who got less clear-cut canon personality.Yet my subconsciousness still likes her a bit more than other ponies. Conscious me thinks I should like a simpler pony, heart feels moonbutt the best pony, but fails to explain why. Got me to a point where my current feelings for Luna would be best summed up as: muted; perhaps looking from another perspective one would call it serene instead. As if It was smiling at something that happened in the past, already having come to terms that this won't come back, but slightly glad it happened.>>42369762>I forgot halfway through I'm on /mlp/ and not /lit/ or /his/.Which boards would she frequent on 4hoof?
rapidly decreasing her distance from (You)
>>42370146apart from the obvious /v/ and /his/? she would obviously stay away from the more wild boards like /b/. and I don't think /pol/ would be her speed either... that'd be more of a Celestia kind of board, along with /b/, /ck/ and /out/, among others.I would guess Luna might frequent /a/, /g/, /wg/, /adv/, /lit/, and if she wanted a good chuckle, maybe /s4s/.Tho both would likely stay away from /mlh/ on account of them cringing hard at the hairless monkeys. who in the world thought giving monkeys a full-body buzzcut was a good idea?!
>>42370146>Which boards would she frequent on 4hoof?I think she would visit the following: /biz/, /his/, /sci/, /an/, /k/, /n/, /out/, and /po/ (paper/oragami)./biz/, /his/, /n/, and /k/ overlap with her responsibilities as part of the head of state. All these, except /biz/, also have a bit of autistic quality to them which Luna would delight in./sci/, /an, /out/, and /po/ align with her general curiosity in nature and sciences, as well as her need to over analyze (/po/ would fit that, sort of, or at least something that would keep her mind occupied for stretches of time).>But why not video game or anime/cartoon related boards?Luna always struck me as the kind of mare that generally wants to be out indulging her curiosity; exploring things, looking at interesting things in nature, figuring things out. Also, I see her as the sister that is always wanting to fund an observatory, exploration/scientific expedition, geological survey, and other such things. She never struck me as a sit down and play video games kind of mare (maybe once in a while), and certainly not multi-player online games as she is much less social than her sister. But, those are just my thoughts on the matter.>I've never understood her well enough to post well thought-out posts in her thread...Well, to be honest there's not much to go on in the show. To some extent, you need to fill in the gaps with imagination.
>>42370146You're not the only moonfag who feels this way. The infrequency with which she appears in the show has left me with more questions than answers when it comes to her personality. I wish I could answer those questions just by talking to her, but I think we just have to make up answers we're happy with. On the other hand, the few appearances she did make in the show gave me the things I love the most about her. I used to worry that those reasons might be shallow or not good enough, but I'm not concerned anymore. I know people who love background ponies with almost no dialogue, all because of fanon, or one author's interpretation of what their personality might be like. I wouldn't say that they don't understand their mares just because their love isn't informed directly by the show. So, I don't think it's a bad thing that a lot of Luna's personality is made up by fans. On a certain level, your favorite pony is whoever you want her to be.
>>42370146>>42371324The show does her kinda dirty because she would fit better in a High Fantasy setting than whatever the fuck post-industrial ass society the world became by the end of the series. I blame the inconstancy amongst the writing staff, but I believe she was supposed to be the wise, "lady of the lake" type character with a tragic past who was stuck in a slapstick comedy.
>>42371324>So, I don't think it's a bad thing that a lot of Luna's personality is made up by fans.Personally, I like that she has few appearances. To me, she's always been the more mysterious, brooding, and anti-social (for a time) kind of mare. Obviously that's not what she is in the show, and she deserved to be in more episodes, but it's nice thinking that she's off doing some private literature or magic shit instead of being the butt of some joke.
>>42371831Indeed.

>>42383045In terms of how they're characterized in the show, Twilight is far and away the most likely to act that way. When Luna sees someone taking a misstep, she tends to just point them in the right direction and then wait for them to overcome the problem on their own. Even if Luna /were/ this concerned about Anon hurting himself, I think she'd be more likely to instruct Anon on proper knife safety rather than take the issue out of his hands entirely.

What helps with dream recall other then journaling? Lucidity can wait when I actually remember experiencing my dreams.
>>42397569I'm not sure if recall is the same thing as experiencing dreams, and whether both get improved at the same time, but it appears that taking 1mg of melatonin to help me fall asleep at sane hours correlates with me having dreams that night, that I remember at least for a moment after waking up, sometimes longer. I don't want to pressure you anon into taking any medicine, I tried that primarily to fix my sleep cycle using something that's harmless according to Wikipedia etc., the dreams were a pleasant side effect. Sometimes the sleep after melatonin feels "different" though, I saw someone comparing it to falling asleep drunk but I don't have that experience so I'm not sure if that's it.Another thing that helped me getting some dreams, but I wouldn't say always remembering them, is a bunch of alarm clocks in the morning, every 10 minutes or so. Waking up just enough to turn them off and immediately falling back asleep seems to give me "something".They're just never about her.

It's magic, I'm sure it can work somehow. Also fits this idea of Luna as patroness of ponies working in navigation, on the seas and so on. Seems plausible for a headcannon.
Continuing this from last thread. Also, here's where I have ponepaste'd it: https://ponepaste.org/11240Chapter 4:Carefully mimicking what her royal instructors had taught her about walking with poise, Luna strode down the main corridor, each step full of panache. Guards proudly standing their post along the corridor, eyed her with amusement as this little mischief-maker went past.>Luna nodded at each pair of guards and randomly offered a "good day, fellow villains!", a snarl, or a little roar. "So far, so good! My disguise is effective!" she said to herself. Then realizing she spoke more loudly than intended, she added with a low whisper "huzzah!"Near the end of the corridor, where a cross-wise passageway let left and right. Luna observed as Lucky Petals, the kingdom's chancellor and second only to the sovereign, rounded the corner and came toward her.>"Greetings! I wish thee a most grey and dismal morning!" said Luna with a false demon voice and a deep bow.The chancellor, at this and looking Luna up and down in her unusual hat and cloak, was taken aback.>"Luna? Indeed, what are you up to now?" asked the quizzical chancellor.Luna's looked around nervously, surprised that her disguise had been seen through. No other demon noticed. So, if she quickly and quietly dispatched this demon her mission could be preserved.>About to draw her mighty sword, Luna stopped, having noticed that the demon facing her too was in disguise. "Oh, it's you Madam Chancellor. I scarcely recognized you in your splendid disguise!" Luna adopted a cunning grin and shrouded her face with part of her cloak. "Ah but I, the knight of the moon and stars, am also in disguise!"The good Chancellor now understood the game.>"Indded? And what, pray tell, is thy sacred mission?"Luna lowered her voice to a whisper and drew a hoof to the side of her mouth.>"To free this castle from its evil master and thence on to dispatch the wicked shadow king himself to return freedom to all ponykind!" The Chancellor nodded in reverence to this noble declaration, and observed what was clearly a new and wild thought forming in the mind of the little filly. In short order, Luna let loose with her new modification to the game.>"....And, by the sacred authority of all knights-errant, I hereby deputize thee a spy in my service! Your mission is ind and report all suspicious activity to me and sabotage the efforts of the master of this castle and his wicked minions!"The Chancellor chuckled to herself as she bowed in gratitude at this honor.>"Behold! I go forth in this honorable endeavor, you have graciously bestowed upon me!"Luna, rather pleased with herself and the fortuitous turn of events - for even she could not have foretold that she would gain such a powerful and useful ally within the bowels of this occupied castle - bowed in turn, but not so low for it is well known that spies occupy a rung below knights in the order of chivalry.
>>42400524>"Then let us part. Guard thy identity well, my ally!" With that, Luna flipped her cloak dramatically and took off at a gallop down the passageway to the right. The chancellor was left to ponder these auspicious events with a few giggles.Luna did not gallop far, but as she saw it she had passed through an enchanted corridor that gave the illusion of having no end whatsoever. In the course of the gallop, Luna called upon the power of the moon, which promptly dispelled the enchantment and allowed her to enter the later half of the corridor.>"Your, pathetic enchantments are no match for the power of the moon and stars, shadow king!"But Luna's boast was short lived, for the quiet passageway now revealed to her well-trained eye that it was perilous indeed. Far from merely being a corridor full of decorative furniture, paintings, tapestries, statures, and stained glass windows, it was clear to Luna that it was filled with traps.>"Booby-trapped! I must go forth with caution. And I am without my magical armor!" Luna looked around and saw a decorative metal plate that was propped up on a stand on a nearby table. "I shall need to improvise. Come and be my shield!" said Luna as she levitated the plate to her side. Now Luna stepped carefully across the tiled floor, watching everything for signs that she might have set of a trap by stepping on a switch, or something. Luckily, there were no other ponies in the corridor, or Luna might have waited for those demons to depart before attempted to cross the perilous passage. Luna did notice the eyes of the statues and ponies in the paintings were following her.>"Haunted too?!"Several steps into the passageway, Luna felt her front hoof give a little more that it should have when she placed it down on a tile.>"Ka-chunk!" Luna made the sound effect for the tile switch that she had inadvertently stepped on.Immediately Luna noticed the statues turn toward her. They let loose volleys of arrows at her. She drew her sword and improvised shield. With deft skill, Luna began dodging arrows, blocking them with her shield, or swatting them away with her sword.>"Ping! Pa-ping! Ping, ping, whoosh! Whap, whoosh, ping!" went the arrows as she defeated them while pirouette'ing away from others.Such was her skill that she continued to move down the passageway, defending herself as she went. Soon she found herself backing away from the statues, when she felt her back hoof activate another tile switch. Luna felt a puff of air beneath her and jumped back just before a line of spears rapidly emerged from the floor.
>>42400536> "Shing! Shing! Shing!..." Came Luna's sound effects as she was forced to continue to jump back. Of, course she continued to dodge the remainder of arrows as well. Now spears came out of the walls and ceiling as well, but they sought their target in vain. For Luna, knight of the moon and stars, displayed fantastic skill in dodging them all. Luna dodged the last set of spears by doing a dive roll over them on to a carpet in the center of the passageway.>"Whew!" said Luna, glancing back over her shoulder at the passageway of death. But in the next moment, Luna heard the distant sounds of some foreboding wooden clockwork.>"Huh?"She looked about, trying to trace from whence it came, ready for anything. Then, she felt a rumbling beneath her hooves.>"Trap door!" she cried as she jumped to the tiled floor just to the side of the carpet. "Whuummp!" went the sound of the trap door as it opened. The tiled floor on the side now constituted a ledge above the now revealed gapping shaft of air above a pit of spikes. Luna gazed down, observing a few pebbles as fell from the ledge into the pit of spikes.>"Too close! By the stars, too close!" said Luna as she caught her breath.Luna inched her way along the edge and clear of the pit. Again she stepped carefully along the floor, supposing the the next trap would be the worst.>"Ka-chunk!" Another switch.Luna now heard more mechanical clockwork sounds emanating from all around her. She glanced about and saw that the ceiling was now descending upon her. Razor sharp pikes began to emerged from holes in the floor and ceiling. On top of that, scythes now swung like pendulums all about. And afar off, at the other end of the corridor a slab of stone was descending, gradually closing off the only exit. Luna rolled her eyes, pursed her lips, and blew a strand of mane out of her eyes.>"My timing must be perfect! One error and I could lose my head or be impaled!" said Luna as she crouched and readied her self to make a run for it.At the right moment she took off at full tilt, dodging spikes, rolling or jumping over scythes, and trying to make the exit before the slab closed it off, entombing her in this chamber of horrors.>"Ahhhhhhh!" she yelled as she galloped with all her might. She took a diving leap over the last scything and slid across the floor, through the door just before the gap became too small for her to fit through. In actuality, her dive landed her on an ornamental rug that then slid for about 3 meters down the hall.>"Huzzah!" she said in triumph. Then worry took her "Wait! My hat!"Luna turned just in time to levitate her hat through the gap and back to her head just before the slab slammed shut and sealed the chamber...forevermore.More to come.

>You and Nightmare spend the remaining hours in slipspace touring the ship>All of the ponies, most being seasoned terrestrial sailors with a few specialist exceptions, are in an expectant mood>They have gone through their first deployment without seeing any combat, which is both a blessing and a curse>On one hand: they have gotten their proverbial space feet wet without disaster>On the other: you still do not known how they will react when the time finally comes>Pirates throwing cannonballs and insults at you on the high seas is one thing>Pirates firing coilguns and missiles at you in the vast void is another>You voice this observation to Nightmare Moon as the two of you walk down the deserted hallway to the bridge>She shrugs with her black wings>"If the pirates and slavers of your memories have not changed, then we need not be concerned.">You nod as you wait for the door at the end of the purple hallway to unlock and slide open"Right, and no one in this galaxy knows about Covy ships yet.">The bridge, located at the front of the ship with a view outside instead of the usual Covenant doctrine of being tucked into the armored center, is buzzing with the low hum of dozens of inside voices>You manage to catch one of the ponies announcing over the ship's intercom system, "One minute to real space transit," as you cross the large open bridge towards the hologram>The rhythm of your armored boots and Nightmare's bare hooves cut above the noise>In the center of the domed room is a massive hologram that is half buried into the floor>The corvette and the battlecruiser are being displayed right now, with graphs of Equestrian text showing the stats of decently-running vessels>Above each ship you note their respective names:>Their Majesties' Ship Nocturnal>Her Majesty's Ship Doppelganger"We finally agreed on names, it seems." >"Much to my sailors' relief.">Captain Mizzen walks around the translucent hologram to join the two of you>Her salty coat underneath her old navy uniform and her bleached mane tucked under her worn tricorn hat is evidence enough of her age>Her sea blue eyes are still sharp and boring into you and Nightmare>"We accrued so much bad luck on that last voyage, we're bound to get into a shooting match here.">You nod,"With how this galaxy is, Captain, it's probable. The civilizations of this galaxy have some ways around it in terms of communication, but there aren't any comm buoys around here. It'll be some time before the light of our arrival reaches those guys' sensors.">You gesture to the hologram, still showing Sour the fleet of ships"Even then, everyone here uses thermals to detect ships, and those too can't see faster than light on their own. We've got a huge advantage with our own sensors.">Captain Mizzen nods,>"We can react much faster than them.">You turn to the screen, crossing your armored arms"With that said, I should have had us jump in closer.">Nightmare Moon replies with a firm tone,>"We couldn't know.">You purse your lips and nod"Right. Let's just hope we can catch them.">Captain Mizzen turns to another mare at a console and asks for ETA>You know she's not satisfied with the response and she's thinking about pushing the engines further"Don't damage the engines yet. If they do get away, we have ways of tracking them. Plus if the colony got out a distress call, then we'll has have Alliance ships here within hours. If we can link up with them, these guys will have a whole wolfpack after them.">The Captain glances up at you,>"Can't they just outrun us all?""Maybe the Alliance ships if they get a big-enough lead, but our slipspace drives aren't restricted to the Mass Relay system. These routes across the galaxy can get pretty windy, especially if some relays are guarded. If we can get an idea of where they're going, we can head them off.">The Captain shuffles in place>"And that's only if this slaver ship escapes?""Correct.">You step away to look at Nightmare, Mizzen, and Speaker"This'll be quite the debut for us, so let's not disappoint.">You all wait for a long time as the distance is closed>Captain Mizzen and Speaker exchange the status of their ships, despite both of them having seen such data before you entered the bridge>Speaker talks of how the hive is acclimatizing to the battlecruiser>Queen Chrysalis' hive, before the ship they're now crewing crashed into it, was a three-dimensional maze of tunnels that were interrupted by chambers of varying utility

Once the projectiles pass, reverse angle. Maintain acceleration.">She isn't going to damage the engines by shoving them into flank speed, but she sure as hell isn't going to slow down
>>42401961>At this speed, your two ships are on the borderline of experiencing light distortions>Not enough to mess with time, but enough to make landing a straight shot on you difficult>The same went for your shots, of course, but you're counting on your homing plasma torpedoes for this flyby>Speaker's image flickers and the battlecruiser's acceleration dips for an instant>A watch officer reports,>"One hit on Doppleganger. The other three shots missed.">You hear Hitomi call out from behind Speaker,>"Minimal damage to shields.">Now that should scare them proper>As your fleet corrects its course, Captain Mizzen mutters, "Now it's our turn," before ordering, "Fire all torpedoes.">The corvette shudders as every torpedo is fired to either side and below you>The battlecruiser's single torpedo is launched upwards>You turn to the hologram, which Sour had switched to encompass your engagement>Data is still streaming in and cluttering up the display, but your outgoing fire is all too obvious>Your fleet is already leaving the fired rounds behind as you blast through the enemy's formation>No missiles are fired at you from the ships>Instead you watch as each one turns in a random sidelong direction to try and evade the incoming balls of magnetically-condensed plasmaAll of the torpedoes find their targets and home in>You can tell that at least the two small ships to either side of you are going to die>They're smaller than UNSC frigates, and even a heavy Paris class gets crippled by a single torpedo hit amidships>The kinetic shields sported by every warship in this galaxy does nothing against pure plasma>And two of the torpedoes are heading for them at an inescapable angle>You let the watch officers monitor the doomed ships and focus on the transport>It has accelerated more and is now practically out of the planet's atmosphere>You cannot remember specifics, but it is around this distance from the planet that ships can engage their eezio core and jump from one star system to another>Now is the crucial moment>A plasma torpedo would destroy the lightly armored ship outright, along with the broadside heavy plasma cannons>The lances are point defense weapons that can be very accurate>Accurate enough to disable engines without damaging other systems>The problem is their relatively short range>Hence your speed>At this rate, you will hit the ship within thirty seconds>No one speaks>A cylinder of blue distortion forms around the ship a second before its mass turns to near-zero and it blasts itself to another system>Gasps, hisses, and quiet curses sound all around you>Captain Mizzen, Nightmare Moon, and yourself glare at the empty space>The Captain takes a deep breath before turning to a watch officer>"What's the status on the remaining ships?"
>>42401968>The reply comes instantly in monotone,>"Enemy ships two and four destroyed. One evaded and jumped ten seconds ago. Three's engines and main weapon are gone. Life support is still active.">"Any escape pods launched?">"Negative, Captain.">"Any survivors at all?">"Nine signs still onboard, Captain.">The scowl on Mizzen's craggy face matches her tone,>"Bring the fleet around and plot an intercept course to that crippled ship. >>42401974>Two hours later, you join Nightmare Moon as she paces back and forth mechanically along the hangar's port door, currently shut>It takes that long to turn, decelerate, and approach the stricken pirate ship>The first forty minutes sees you, Nightmare, and Sour finding Aden and Shal, then marching over to the hanger and briefing the platoon of Equestrian Marines>After the briefing, the platoon diffuses around the large circular hanger, littered with heavy equipment, Shal's inert phantom dropship, and piles of wooden crates>At first most of the ponies are visibly giddy, excited by such a unique opportunity as being the first Equestrians to board an enemy ship in space on their own terms>That giddiness slowly evolves into nervousness with so much time to think about what might go wrong>The sergeants try to keep the ponies busy with securing everything to the deck, but that lasts only another thirty minutes before there is nothing else to do but wait>All thirty-three ponies are currently going through a cycle of rechecking the gear on themselves and their buddies, asking if anything new is happening, playing cards, and staring at a point in space somewhere in or outside of the hangar>The minutes tick by and you change your pace>You stop at one end of the shielded hangar door and wait>When Nightmare reaches the other end you resume pacing, passing her in the middle>She glances at you inquisitively on the first pass>It is on the seventh pass that you notice a faint, but unnatural tingle pulse around the side of your body opposite to her>With your helmet on, you look closely at the nearby marines>As the black alicorn passes by the closest one, you see their ears snapping up for an instant, their tails twitching, and their active resistance against looking around either at her or at where they feel like they are being watched from>Even Aden, who has sat back-straight next to the crates holding all of your weapons this whole time, occasionally turns his golden visor towards her, then you>With nothing else to do, everyone involuntarily focuses on the unsettling aura emanating from Nightmare>Sour, now donned in the sage-green spaced plating of marine armor, drifts over to the two of you>His helmet and self-contained-breathing-apparatus hangs from a short strap tied to his back, dangling opposite of his rifle rig>The fur in the white stripe on his snout is standing up, but his voice is steady when he asks,>"Lady Moon, do you know why you're giving off an aura of fear?">Lady Moon, that's a new one>His whispering is almost drowned out by the ambiance of the hangar, but the ears of the nearby marines perk up>Both you and Nightmare stop>She raises her head and searches for an answer in the ceiling>"No.">She looks down at Sour, smiling>"Answering that mystery will only spoil it."

>>42407237It's kind of rough measurements but something like3 cups of milk, 1/3 teaspoon cinnamon, a little nutmeg (a little goes a long way), and blueberry syrup to taste (more than you'd think, but probably depends on brand). Keep refrigerated, obviously. Makes enough for a couple small glasses of the stuff to have as a treat. Or make more and keep it in a jug in the fridge. I dunno. You do you. The nutmeg and cinnamon do not dissolve in the milk so make sure you can shake it up or otherwise mix it again if you're keeping some for later.

Hey check out this adorable artwork from Sleepyhoers: Princess Luna, pregnant and asleep, dreamwalking in her unborn foal's dream. The full quality's on the boorus. I've got more artwork like this, but I'm sitting on it until I write a short story about it. I'll post that here too, once I'm ready.

>>42447228I meant I have different artwork depicting the same basic idea, and I intend to write about that, not this piece I just posted here.Anyway, I'm glad you guys like it, I've let Sleepy know.
>>42446855Ya know, I never even thought of Luna dreamwalking with unborn foals. Would they have a sense of self, any concrete dreams? Or would they be just alien color and soundscapes, without any true substance or form? She could shape it herself, give it form but how would that affect the foal's development? Would they be born with the ability to speak? Form coherent memories? Or would they just have some strange, unnatural attachment to a mare other than their mother?
>>42448601I really like the idea of Luna seeing NMM in mirrors and things like that. It's like Luna realizes that NMM is an inherent part of her; even a constant companion. It gives Luna a lot of complexity as a character.

What does /Moon/ think of the tantabus episode?
>>42472629Luna struggling with self-forgiveness is a good idea, and it teaches an important moral, but the episode was clumsily executed and came far too late in the series. Luna deserved to have more of the spotlight in the episode, and it should have taken place in S1 or S2. The amount of silly filler also bothers me. I don't think they approached Luna's struggles with the seriousness they deserved.
>>42472629>>42472667>>42472629>>42472667>Luna struggling with self-forgiveness is a good idea, and it teaches an important moral,Agree on it being a really good idea, but I feel like she didn't do enough to warrant her having a difficult time with it at all. She was pissed for a while, fought Celestia for a few minutes, and then was banished. Barely any buildup beyond what the very first episode tells us either.
>>42472629I agree with >>42472667>the episode was clumsily executed and came far too late in the series, and it should have taken place in S1 or S2.Feels like it would fit well into S2 or 3, if handled a bit better.

>>42415696>deep blue moonbutt in the pitch dark nightThat's pretty, thanks anon.
>>42473969The heck does it mean "lack them"?Like at all? Wha?If it means they are small tho... FUCKIN'ELL MAN! Thats great! Her little butt and little crotchboobs excite me so!https://cdn.twibooru.org/img/view/2020/7/13/505070.png
>>42475859:_( Does the canon even elaborate how Luna stayed on the Moon? IIRC they pretty much ignored that part of her life
>>42476438i always imagined she was just unconscious, body stored in the moon like discord turned to stone
>>42476450what if Luna was fine while NMM was the one suffering on the Moon?
>>42476455that'd make sense, luna is just unconscious so time is warped for her while nmm is tormenting her, oh man, luna was having a thousand year nightmare.
>>42476486>luna was having a thousand year nightmarelike pic rel or something more "normal"? Would also make >>42472629 rather interesting (she's had a eternal nightmare -> she's fine with punishing herself with another nightmare)
>>42476492maybe periods of dreamless sleep then NMM screwing with her, her punishing herself with the tantabus feeling like NMM wasn't enough is interesting. its a shame the show made her turn to evil so simple, she said no one night, turned black then immediately got banished, hardly something to feel nightmare-creating guilty over
>>42476450I always figured she was stuck inside the moon like a prison only her spirit could writhe endlessly around in.
>>42476438Naw, Faust has said that since they were under a deadline and that part wouldn’t be in the episode, they just skipped over it.

>>42473969genuinely heartbreaking statementi hope i never hurt some pony with the things i say like this EVER

>>42478359Of course. In return I offer her tea, ear scritches, and hugs.
>>42478359Give me that cake
>>42355387noctis detected
>>42479094NOCTISWHERE
>>42473969I would never reject Luna regardless of the status of her tits.
>>42478359>that's celestia's cake>cake for celestiauh oh
>>42473969Luna im so sorry I'm only attracted to images of huge teats because i cannot extrapolate anything meaningful out an image beyond it's visual appeal
>>42464260There's no way 2 eyes of that size fir in her skull.
Bump to protect against the spam thread raid
>>42479887cakes aren't just for the sun, you know?
>>42481162by law they are
>>42481193Luna should definitely edit Equestria's Code of Law after Her returnsome restrictions are ridiculous
>>42481206>These 'mooncakes' which were, heretofore, produced for the good of all Equestria, shall now be reserved only for Our most royal tummy!

>>42481277pretty
>>42483055why bully?
>>42455721Would she bake cookies as Luna, just so that she could steal them as Nightmare Moon?
>>42484883She bakes them happily together with CelestiaWhen she gets angry and goes Nightmare Moon mode, they help to remind her what realy matters and to calm down and return to regular Luna mode>captcha XD Y NNMIm not even kidding, if only the secons N was M it would be perfection
Luna has been washed with a brush and extraction vacume cleaner and using some lavender washing liquid :3Ive had her for over 2 years and after all the roadtrips we had and sleeping together almost every night, it was hight ime for a bathIts amazing how much more vibrant her fur bacame! She is now drying in the sun and waiting for a night of snuggles
