From the same guy that made that mischieveous AI pony robot that went rogue, I did not expect something this cinematic and professional looking to come out, I'm hooked and curious to see where this goes.Any ideas, theories and opinions so far?I'm tired of having nothing interesting to talk about.youtube.com/watch?v=DkUEHMfQw-I
>>42538498Wasn't there some controversy around the creator at one point?
>>42538498Buy an ad
>>42538505stolen assets?
I thought that it was pretty interesting, i'll keep an eye on it to see what's next. Not a fan of the furry OC, but it doesn't play a big part in the story as of now, so it's fine. And kudos to the author for actually finishing it, i can't imagine the amount of work that was required to make it all alone, especially considering how good it looks. Also, Flower has a gigantic rump. I like that.
>>42538498It's visually impressive and looks like a lot of work to put together but the plot is pants on head retarded and that fucking sherlock asspull sequence made me physically cringe
>>42538498The ponies look like visual diarrhea so I will not be watching
We know.
>>42538498This isn't a show, it's a goddamn fetish farm. All characters have fucking chipmunk cheeks and asses you could park a bus on. The models are pure coomerbait.Oh and of course there's a fucking furry character, gotta check all the boxes for the degenerates. It's just a front to sell porn. The creator's Patreon is literally just softcore lewds of the cast. It's designed to milk lonely idiots. Absolute fucking slop.
>>42538575>Paying for softcore
>>42538498LFO, BUY A FUCKING AD YOU COCKSUCKER. Nobody wants to watch your fucking sloppy softcore fetish farmhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WVBT7FrgJI
>>42538524The pony model assets are just ripped from Second Life (With their asses turned up to 500%), so it wasn't "all alone".
>>42538498It's not the politically motivated disaster that I thought it would be based on the chosen imagery in the trailer, but it's still one big question mark to me.
>>42538525 Didn't it seem like an obvious guess to make about why would a fed own a mattress company though? Not a fan of the scene and even less so of the random swearing but I thought it was the only scene that actually accomplished something instead of endlessly tease shit I have ZERO reason OR CONTEXT to care for in the first place?
>>42538498official ptfg animated series???
I want to cum inside this pink goddess
>>42538498The dialogue and writing is such ass kek, but I do like the overall animation. It's pretty smooth, with overall good style, composition, flow, and punch. If the dialogue wasn't so fucking cringe i'd give it an 8/10
>>42538890there was a popular meme floating around about how those matress stores are always empty and have to be a front for money laundering
I enjoyed the hell out of it. It's a perfect storm of autism. Two years ago it started with goonerbait ads. Funny enough. Then he manages to raise enough money to create this, which is just another ad. But now he's had enough time and money raised to go full retard with it. This was created with nothing to keep him in check. No one to suggest maybe the amount of edge was cringe, or the guy in an AI female pony robot body was a cheap workaround for an inability to write female characters. No one to point out that the narration is a cover for the dialog being incredibly weak. Just charging ahead with more goonerbait and even some furbait for good measure. That will keep the donations rolling in!And maybe he's on to something. While I would never pay for this I will watch, because I find it entertaining to see someone painstakingly crafting a string of poor decisions. It may be deeply flawed and embarrassing, but it's way more interesting than just about anything else I can think of with similar production values. And the fact that it wears its flaws on its sleeve makes them easier to accept. I don't feel like my intelligence is being insulted because it's less insulting than plenty of ads I've seem. Will watch the next ad when it comes out, if only to see how far he can run with the edgy pandering thing. Also: deerpone is hot.
>>42538898Hello /k/
>>42538498This guy definitely watched too much Mr Robot and Sherlock. I can also sense a hint of Disco Elysium in there too. I'm not complementing him, because his video fails to replicate the same quality. It feels like a parody that isn't aware of what makes the original work. If I could reshape the show then I'd ditch the 40 year old protagonist. Instead I'd go for an overly confident one that's blessed with an unparalleled intellect, but cursed to navigate a world of fools. The Astro Boy like protagonist could work, but I feel a girl would fit the character better. It would be interesting to see how a child comes to terms with having a God-like intellect. I'm against the furry character. His design is fine, but doesn't match the pony esthetic. He feels especially shoehorned in considering he wasn't in any of the promotional material. Starting straight with the action was a wise choice for the pilot. It's a great way to get the audience's attention quickly and deliver a solid outline of the show. The detective portion felt too short though. All good detective stories have a mystery the audience can solve along side the protagonist. The man was suspicious from the start, which took away most of the suspense from the scene. The hacking part felt too convenient. There was little struggle involved. It'd be interesting if the man had something on him that gave away the fact that he had two daughters. Like a key-chain with their faces on it, or if you want to go the hacking route you could show that is has 4 network providers under his name. Overall the conclusion was lukewarm. The film failed to establish who the protagonist was in the first section, so it was difficult to accept the shift in scenery towards the end. The main pony's design is fine, but the other two seem half done. The main issue for me is the color scheme. There's too much dissonance between the setting and their designs. I would have preferred something like the furry's color. It's hard to pin point their character, because their designs lack substance. As a closing statement: I understand the mantra "learn the rules then break them", but it's important to not forget that this should be applied as a way to strengthen a story. It shouldn't be the foundation of one.If 5 is average then this is a 4.5/10 Nice animationFlawed plotBelow average designI'm eager to see more
>>42539350There isn't even a story yet. All we have so far is ads for a story. I almost don't want to see a complete work made out of this. Not as a one man production, at least. No way he could keep it coherent. But more fucked up ads would be good. He is capable of making good ads.
>>42539150>deer pone is troon color themedYup thats /k/ all right
>>42539350why are you giving him detailed criticism?
Rewatched the video a few times as well as his previous videos. Interestingly, His Disconnected video is connected to Flower's Journey. Connect Us All is just the dream sequence the robot ponies are in, so no actual lore there. Both Sweet Shot and the railroad pony are in Flower's Journey and Disconnected. The behind the scenes video for Disconnected shows that the railroad pony's name is Lindsey. The soundtrack for episode 1 has a track named Lindsey's Theme which is the music that plays during that scene so that checks out. Based on Disconnected, the experiment Lindsey was doing on the ponies seemed to have failed with Sweet Shot being on the list of failures. She then runs off and lays on the railroad. The rest of Lindsey's story is in Flower's Journey.List of characters I've gathered:Flower - ObviouslyMarcus Cane - Money laundering fedTerrence - Resurface CEO. After Flower is done recharging, the AI calls her Terrence.Mobli - Flower's furry.Sweet Shot - The white unicornKefania - The deer ponyLindsey - Suicidal railroad pony. I'm suspecting that she's the whistleblower that the female news anchor mentions before it cuts to the Fed and Flower scene.Ethan - Unknown about this one. The name comes up before Lindsey gets hit by the train.Other things I gathered:Both Flower and Terrence have thoughts on their own. Flower. going "Did he just pull a gun on us?" and Terrence replying "Yes he did." implies that they both have their own thought processes. Also when Terrence is saying that they are trying to save the world, you can hear Flower say "Lies."At the beginning of the time skip it shows a dead man on a table. I'm wondering if that could be the Ethan guy Lindsey was thinking about or somebody else. I don't think it's Terrence since when time goes back to the present, there's nobody on the table.I don't think LF0 should've had the time skip yet. Seems like he's trying to throw a lot us without setting up a good foundation. First episode should've been more about Flower and Resurface stuff to start us off on. Creating Sweet Shot & Kefania and testing them could have been the 2nd episode. Maybe reveal the twist in a later episode?
>>42539451>why are you not wasting your time with useless bait threads, lame generals and godawful nohooves / retarded fetish crap nobody cares about that is obviously designed just to shittify the board further and drive interest away?>how DARE you actually be interested in analyzing and talking about cool stuff actual pony artists in the community have put out recently?
>>42538505All I know is that he’s very against reuploads of his old stuff and will issue takedown requests. This caused issues for Top Ten Pony Videos in past. The Pony Archive still has them though. That, and he made some remarks on Twitter but I can’t remember what they were about.
>another good animator can't write for shitMany such cases
Place your bets when will the next episode drop!My guess is in 2 years.

>>42540840I concur and for that I bump this thread from the precipe of page 10./mlp/ needs to be put in its place and learn to discuss shit. I've never seen a successful Story of the Blanks thread on /mlp/.
>>42543822Can't believe I'm agreeing with a namefag, but vogelfag no less.
>>42543918Oh and season 2 of MLP FIM is still shit.
>>42538964Ah I get it now, thx.>>42542370I can understand not liking the bat due to saturation but why the deer though? It has the most fuckable pony behind I've seen: no long hair to get in the way of ass shots and manual thrusting action but a cute little tail to compliment the ears and chest fluff + contrast with the massive behind, just imagine how cute it would look shaking with excitment, it's a sensitive spot for sure. The nose is a bit much but it would feel out of place without it due to the whole deer theme, but it's an acceptable compromise. Like, come on bro.
>>42542353>Retarded newfag is surprised deerponies look like deerponies
>>42538498The fuck is that shit thing on the left?
>>42543918Rewatch trannies are less than vogelfags
Last bump for squeezing any bit of discourse left.
>>42541679that explains a lot. i had a whole callout post from him for stuff that i posted on my x/twitter account. even thought it had credits. he is a bit sensitive about his stuff uploaded somewhere else.
>>42544864A deer hybrid.
>>42538505>wasn't there some contr-ACK!What is with zoomoids and obsessing over petty drama like gossiping high school girls?
>>42538498Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the story that this pony is basically a man in a mare's body? A simple yes or no will suffice.
>>42547464Maybe the chance to do that irl because school was closed due to pandemic, so now they want to police online so-called communities to root out "problematic" individuals to make up for the gossip they missed out on. Then their lack of social experience leaves them shocked to discover that many folks who are into interesting stuff also have interesting perspectives that may not align with their sheltered wordlviews. So they get upset about it and create drama. This shit has always happened, but social media blows it up because it massively increases engagement, encouraging everyone to gossip like a 12 year old girl.
