Man, slow start is an understatement.
I'm quite new to that, is there a local version? Also, is GPU compulsory, or can a CPU suffice?

OP, why did you removed the "ppp" from the post? Im now having difficulties finding this thread.
>>42561588Well that's kind of the point.Forget, anon.Move on.
>>42560033due to new (?) OP being a fag there is tons of stuff missing.Main google doc:https://docs.google.com/document/d/1y1pfS0LCrwbbvxdn3ZksH25BKaf0LaO13uYppxIQnacQuick start guide (this one is easiest to get links for offline local versions):https://docs.google.com/document/d/1PDkSrKKiHzzpUTKzBldZeKngvjeBUjyTtGCOv2GWwa0
>>42561595This. Forget this thread and make a new one with the proper OP.

One project to maybe keep an eye on, MultiFoley for horse noises.>https://ificl.github.io/MultiFoley/>https://ificl.github.io/MultiFoley/static/videos/text-refoley/cat/horse-neighing.mp4Can you imagine your pony wife whinnying at you? Perhaps a snort or squeal? One day... Just hope this isn't another project that gets pay-walled - if it hasn't been integrated in paid video AI already. Can't imagine we could reconstruct it based on the information provided in their paper? Train it on a bunch of horse noises, and/or the existing non-vocal sounds of our compiled dataset.

>>42563584I mean, everything you need to understand is basically here
>>42563926fuck i really need to get my degree already
>>42563929In programming?Or data scientist?
>>42564587Which one's going to land me a stable job?
>>42565366Honestly, I don't know where coding is going (despite being a coder myself). As for data scientist, it's basically the road to AI, so, today, it's the place to be, but if you just started your studies and still have 5 years to have your diploma, I don't know if AI will still be hyped as much. The LLM really changed how we view coding, replacing entry level coders. It speeds up veterans half the time, and slow them down the other.Strange effects on coders really. Two interesting reads:https://hackaday.com/2023/06/08/contrary-view-chatbots-dont-help-programmers/https://hackaday.com/2025/08/01/ai-code-review-the-right-way/
