However stallions do often serve the role as protectors in herds, so someone who is physically capable would probably be considered attractive to some degree. As far as I know, horses generally don't like being struck in any capacity, they find it unpleasant, compared to human women who often enjoy acts that would be considered pretty violent during sex. I myself may have not noticed as much change over the last years merely because I've been exclusively using this board for ages now. I don't remember how long exactly, but I came here during the S2-S3 hiatus (after I finally gave in to the hype and bingewatched the first two seasons). I may have visited /jp/ a couple more times during that time but this place became my homeboard pretty quickly. I hardly ever use other boards anymore and every time I take a look outside of this place I'm astonished by how terrible it has become. Even /mlp/ is pretty fucking terrible (even more so since the hack) but the other boards are completely intolerable. But the whole internet has gone to shit and this is one of the few places I can still use to forget about the issues of the day. That's not a testament to /mlp/'s quality, just an indicator of how fucking bad everything outside of here has become.
