I've been told it's painless and that it brings on many changes. I dunno much other than that.
If we take a naturalistic approach to it then suicide means the end of consciousness, which is neither good nor bad, so it would be a reasonable thing to do if you can be reasonably certain that your life will be more bad than good going forward, like having a painful, incurable disease, not just your life sucking because you're lazy or something like that which could be fixed. Taking the possibility of the supernatural into account makes it more complex because the supernatural by its nature is something we can neither prove nor disprove but in terms of trying to make the best educated guess I would say the belief in something like a soul and the existence of something like karmic justice would be more on the reasonable end of possible supernatural beliefs in which case suicide would be justified if your continued existence is a clear negative on the world in general instead of just for yourself. I don't think being a neet or an autist or something like that would fall under that would fall under that category because our society sucks and taking money from it is the just thing to do but I'm thinking more about things like how the last few years in most people's lives are actually the most expensive ones in their entire lives so offering something like voluntary euthanasia for old and sick people would in my view be a net benefit for the world and would increase the chance that their souls get to move on to equestria or a similar paradise.

I just think there is a difference between being an unemployed autist still doing stuff and being a human vegetable. If I got the diagnosis that I have dementia for example, I'd probably kill myself right away before my mind got too destroyed by the disease for me to still have control over my actions.
