I do have the Loyaldk 4K ESRGAN upscale from a few years back. That one I believe they trained uncompressed assets for the model and I thought it looked great with very few artifacts. Entire sets of FiM, EqG and other misc stuff got upscaled that way. Loyaldk had them up on the cloud but I think they have since made it available as a torrent and on YayPonies.I will download the Amazon stuff, mainly to see if there's a better copy of the censored S2E14 that I keep alongside my upscaled uncensored copy. I'm also the MLP DVD torrent guy with essentially a complete North America DVD/BD set so I can also compare from any of those.

For my personal collection of G4 copies, mine is a mixture of 4K ESRGAN upscales, some 1080p WEB-DLs from YayPonies and Usenet and some Blu-ray remux files. With the 4K ESRGAN copies, some FiM episodes were sourced from the washed out color releases I replace with any 1080p copy that I think is the best (haven't checked Amazon yet). Any episodes with some upscaling issues such as that live-action puppet scene in S5E7 I replace with 1080p. Anything with change in content such as censored Derpy I keep multiple copies. EqG shorts and music videos 4K upscales were sourced from poor YouTube releases with mono audio so I substitute with 1080p Blu-ray remux.
