The night is prettier, calmer, and more pleasant temperature wise, as well as easier on the eyes for anyone who isn´t a dark eyed swarth or shitskin. Provided equestria is flat and not an actual planet and it doesn´t cause one side to get extremely hot and the other extremely cold, or murder all plant life by lack of sunlight like it would in our world (neither of which happened in equestria) then she did nothing wrong and i would love to have it as opposed to a day/night cycle.
