I fear that the live action MLP movie will have realistic semi designs, like the Sonic movies and the story will be just of ponies in real life being sentient toys at some girl's house. So Toy Story with Ponies.

It will have a girl and her brother discovering the pony toys are alive after the brother tries to do dumb shit to stupid girly toys, but everyone is in danger from evil toys that exist as the enemy of ponies just for this film
After being harassed and attacked, the siblings seek aid from some lady that likes ponies but even she needs help, the trio journey down the street to the weird man on the block, an aged brony played by Steve "Chicken Jockey" Minecraft who is disillusioned with ponies after so much mockery
The ponies reignite his passion and everyone learns the truth, everyone is the real character from the universe, they were trapped and bound to the plastic by bbeg in the newest attempt to destroy ponies.
The brother learns to accept girly things and that its "cool" to go against the crowd mocking him for it, while the girl learns girly stuff can still be tough. The older pair turn out to be exes.
The group defeats evil using the power of friendship, amd the ponies fade back into hard plastic once more, saying they'll see each other again in their imaginations. The older pair are seen, now dating again.
A post credits scene shows the bbeg still stuck in plastic, being picked up and buried in a yard by a dog and then cuts to black as the dog raises its leg over the spot
