However, everything even tangentially related to generation 5 has since been completely cut. It is now entirely a Friendship is Magic revival.Outcome B: At some point in the last year, Hasbro canceled any above plans for an animated cartoon revival of generation 4 in favor of a live action film slated for a 2027 release. The 15th year anniversary announcement could now just be revealing shitty new Mane 6 toys no one here really cares about. Friend who's into G5 told me all this at MF. Maybe he just has bullshit sources or making it up, but the anniversary is a few days away so we'll see. Either way, they know Faust's My Little Pony is where the most money and mainstream success is so that's what they're going to continue making until the end of time now, I guess.
