How do you learn to make pony sculptures like this? Do you just use clay and lots of patience or you just 3D print it now?
>>42636493>hurr how I learned skillBy doing it.Both real clay modelling and 3d printing are commonly used.
>>42636493sketching > wiring > blocking > sculpting > detailing > painting
>>42636493Yeah, you just get clay and start doing it. You're probably going to suck at first, but keep trying. Plenty of videos on how to get started and various techniques. Yeah, you could also 3D print if you wanted to. You'd get lots of figurines that way, but there would still be a void in your soul where a skill should be. I dunno. Tradeoffs, you know?
>>42636493practice, practice, practice
>>426365333d modelling and printing is still a skill, not to mention you still have to paint the thing.Shuxer uses 3d printing now mostly.
>>42636493Step one: be born with talent
>>42636596*Note, many people fail this simple step
>>42636579>Shuxer uses 3d printing now mostly.What?
>>42636970https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGSY1JX3fZ8Ok maybe not mostly, but he's done it.It never stops being funny how he makes figurines worth hundreds if not thousands of dollars, but uses totally junk tools.
>>42636579>Shuxer uses 3d printingLol, no.
>>42637006That's not 3D printed. Each part is sculpted and cured before painting and assembly.
>>42637100The parts are 3d printed. It's from a 3d model by V747.
This is a painted print, by Taaldis.
