They can pay entire teams of lawyers out to get people who violate these sort of agreements. And it's not like the pool of top-shelf fan animators was so large you could've flown under the radar for long.I don't know the specific restrictions, so I do wonder if he could've continued making pony animations in the same style but featuring nothing from the show.
