Tell us about the lessons you learned about friendship and your own experiences with friendship
>>42718683Dear Princess Celestia,Today I learned that OP is an immense homosexual or Faggot fi you will, respecting your friend's interests and preferences is the right thing to do but guzzling down a gallon of semen in public is inappropriate at best.Yours sincerely,Anon.
Today I felt lonely and sad. But then there was this nice old woman I met at the train station in my town who wasn't from here and asked me how to get to her home town. So I explained what trains she had to take and then I didn't feel so lonely anymore. Its not always the depth of a relationship that matters, friendship can also show itself in small acts where we help each other.
>>42718683The true mark of a friend, is being ready to sacrificing for your friends. Be that big or small sacrifices.
>>42718683Having an expectation of what friendship is can sour your experience with it in reality, some people are designated as observers if they dont go out of their way to initiate everything themselves, it cant really be helped which means for some people the only friend you have is yourself and you have to be good to yourself because no one else will.
>>42718697The true mark of a friend is being ready to sacrifice your friends. FTFY.
>>42718683Sometimes people have immutable personality traits that you hate with vitriol, and sometimes you just have to close your eyes and roll with it forever. Its nice being able to look past things
>>42718683Keep your success to yourself. No matter the level of friendship or how you approach the subject, people get really uncomfortable if you're doing better than them in anyway, especially when it comes to finance, romance, and life accomplishments. Don't talk about it.
>>42718683I learned that it is possible for me to have pony friends, but impossible for me to have human friends.
>>42718683True friendship is picking a friend up from the airport at 3am
>>42718683My best friend hates my little pony, he thinks we're a bunch of faggots. I have to hide from him that I'm still part of this fandom.
>>42720226Based.
>>42720272I told everyone at my work place that I like ponies and now they make fun of me. Probably not such a good idea but I think if you have a good friend that they should be able to see past these things.
>>42718683Learned that real friends do not value you for what you create, but for who you are when you're paying attention to things beyond yourself. All the ideas and solutions in the world don't hold a candle to that.Alright, that sounded preach-faggy as shit, time to hit the hay.
>>42718683I've never had a large friend group, but my best friend and I have known each other for about 80% of our lives (since the beginning of elementary school). It's great to have someone who I can trust completely.
>>42721883Some people are still so hateful and won't look at things from a more neutral perspective. They hear MLP and think of old generations, they don't know about the incredible community around it. Those who dismiss you for enjoying something that brings you joy were never worth interacting with in the first place. People are cruel, they are are cruel because they are scared of being seen different from others, they don't deserve your time or energy.
>>42722951I don't have that but I'm really happy for you man.
