Chrysalis should have died at the end of To Where and Back Again. It would have been a logical place to end her character arc, and certainly better than the queencel shit. When Thorax shares his love with her, and the rest of the hive does that too, the excess should have overloaded her body and blown her apart, Sombra-style.
