>>42753616>Did you only watch till season 2 /3 or enjoy all 9 seasons of the FIM?I watched all 9 seasons. Can't say I enjoyed all 9.>Was FIM one of the kind of lighting in the bottle and it will be impossible to reproduceWe're NEVER getting anything like this again. FiM was a product of circumstance and a product of it's time. The world and the internet are way too different for something like this to happen ever again.>Is cute art style and likable characters all G6 needs to be successful or at the very least watchable?A cute art style and likable characters would probably make something tolerable, but let's be honest, Hasbro won't let that happen.

I don't watch it i just imagine stories in my head
>>42753616>what do you watch the show for?the answer is obvious
>>42753616>Did the world of Equestria make you watch the show no matter if you were interested in Characters or story of the episodes? It was cool at first, with the Everfree being implied to've been growing and then the story of Hearth's Warming. They couldn't really have made a lot of episodes in JUST Ponyville and Canterlot, so it was inevitable the map was expanded and the worldbuilding dumbed down to pave the way for more seasons.>Did you only watch till season 2 /3 or enjoy all 9 seasons of the FIM?I managed to force myself through the later seasons. Fuck me, it wasn't worth it. I told myself not to watch them and now I can't really see FIM in the same way I used to without deliberately going back to old PMVs and animations from before Twiggie was alicornified.

>>42753616>What was essential for this show to catch your attention?I think the character designs and the reputation it had got me to watch but if the episodes weren't genuinely fun to watch due to entertaining writing I wouldn't have stuck around.>What do you think made the show successful, not only on the internet but among its target demographic?Charming characters, a really good blend of slice of life with adventure elements, also being a simple and positive story in the wake of the '08 recession.>Did you only watch till season 2 /3 or enjoy all 9 seasons of the FIM?I'm working through the whole show but the later seasons can be a slog.>Was FIM one of the kind of lighting in the bottle and it will be impossible to reproduce it or do you think it is very possible with the right talent and vision but Hasbro is just retarded?I don't think it's impossible to make a show as good as FiM. I do think it's impossible for it to have the same impact, FiM came out at such a specific moment in history.>Is cute art style and likable characters all G6 needs to be successful or at the very least watchable? It's gotta have entertaining stories, if people don't enjoy watching the episodes it doesn't matter if the characters are good fandombait and the artstyle's adorable.
>>42753616A mix of comfort, nostalgia and comfort in nostalgia. It is also oddly entertaining to watch with other people.
>>42753616Heartfelt cute ponies. It was a very sweet show, soured later by bad writers.
>>42753686>can't really see FIM in the same way I used toSame. I don't even really rewatch now. Because that same curiosity that kept me intrigued and invested in their fates was punished. I'm not so curious anymore.
