>>42776364There are 3 total from a total character list of 30 and a combined ideas list of 60, which is also down from the 4 from 2024 since I removed my own OC and the ones of those not planning on participating this year.My Hypnovember event started as a small event for my server, so I include some OCs of some folks on the fence about participation as a small incentive, and I've confirmed continued interest from those included as well. For those not interested in using those characters, there's no requirement to do so. I figured they could just do the prompt of the day only since that's the only default "rule" of Hypnovember normally anyway (not that I expect participation to change much outside the server regardless.)

Hypnovember has been around forever yeah, but if you check what most people do, they post a list of prompts in advance and follow each one day by day, so I don't really think that's something unique to my event. The only thing "unique" I really added was the characters list, and I tried to stress as much as I could on the site that it was entirely optional to use them.

The most my cheer pony will do is tell me who would make the best next recruit before forgetting that she did.

Even if they take her to see the best hypnotists in caterlot, her triggers are in too deep and I've trained her well to play along with any lesser hypnotist without actually falling under.Who knows, maybe they do find a hypnotist better than me and remove it. When she returns to Ponyville, it's not like she'll be able to say being brainwashed was a bad experience, and by the time she's back I'll have brainwashed other ponies into being maids or emotionless robots or thinking they're the opposite sex.
