picked this up on eBay because I wasn't interested in the complete set. decent quality but the translucent parts aren't very accurate in terms of color and like the other Kwistal Fluttershy's, the yellow is a bit paler than it should be. my local Hot Topic had two cases of these in the blind box section of the store which was cool to see

Day 3 with the official MLP pony keyboard is amazing. Installed the software driver for it finally. The RGB reacting to music is a bit much, but its nice to see it deliver on all the features. The only bad thing is that it needs to connect through the wire to update the settings. I have the custom color of my waifu's color RGB code. Tomorrow I will play with the macro settings. It's just the blue ones too. Using Sew-Ology 40wt cause that's what was in the embroidery rack in Hobby Lobby. Im using a Brother SE700 combo embroidery and sewing machine I bought so I could do the embroidery for my /ss/ gift, but holy shit is this the most infuriating thing I've ever had to deal with. The sewing isnt even that hard. The only thing that's stopping me from shipping this present today is the simple fact that I'm incapable of shipping a shitty product and the cutie mark is the last thing I need to embroider. Any plushie makers have recommended thread that they buy? The manual recommends 60wt, but the white, black, and grey options are all 40wt and worked perfectly fine. Are needles important? My needles all say ORGAN(?) 90/14 except for the one that came in the machine which just says 25mm.
Is there ever any NY based cons? Preferably not big city ones perhaps.

With my old janome I've found that 1.6mm is narrowest satin stitch that machine is willing to do. Anything above, no problem. Anything below, constant breakages. It's apparently physical limitation coming from size of the loop lower thread makes inside the machine or something. Have you tried to do wider designs? Maybe try just simple straight lines starting from like 2mm wide and go narrower until machine starts to jam up, that's how I found my machines limitations.

Does anyone have a store/brand they suggest buying body pillow inserts from? I've been sleeping with a body pillow for a while now, and while the pillow case itself has remained soft and vibrant, the pillow itself doesn't stand up to regular cuddling. It gets all lumpy and misshapen annoyingly quickly. Probably because it's just a cheap one from amazon. I've heard good things about dakimakuri inserts, but they're currently sold out of the size my case needs (150 cm).
