Capital punishment in Equestria is you being locked in a room with no friends and Fluttershy sometimes walking in to tell you how disappointed she is in you while bringing you your food. You're only allowed to spend all day in your room playing games and watching other ponies find friends while you stay alone and have none. Its a punishment that's rarely applied as ponies see it as a form of torture and most can't make it for more than a week before they give up on criminality and get reintegrated into society.

This fucks me up as a normie. I would get tired or bored of gaming after a while and the idea of losing out on friends bothers me irl already, especially over a misunderstanding. So OP, What crimes are treated as capital offenses then?
