G5, and I mean as presented from the Netflix movie, had the chance to be as great as G4. What killed it was the lack of funding and confidence from Hasbro. I never gave a shit was the haters thought as it was mostly the nostalgia-driven losers who cling to the past. I love the shit out of G4 but I don't let that stop me from liking NEW THING. Anyway, it's 99% Hasjew here as to why G5 failed. The ideas behind G5 were solid as were the characters and plots (and I include Hitch getting turned into a bitch boy as "Hasbro fuckery".)Sunny is a better main protagonist than Twilight ever was.
