Reposting:UK /ss/ MEETPaging: Dusy Bin, Rolling Stocking, Moonlight Magic, Proper Package, Store Brand Soup, Shoots 'n' Leaves + a couple other respondents who remained anon.I think we're in a position now to start nailing down details for the date and location for this year's UK /ss/ meet. There's consensus on Nov 29 and Dec 13 being good dates, the biggest open question remains on the location being norf or souf. To that I say - why not both?Here's my proposal - two separate meets, one up norf (Manchester?) on Nov 29 and one down souf (Reading) on Dec 13. Reading seemed widely approved as the souf location but I'm still not 100% sure for the norf - any northerners wish to make a case for any particular place, or even take lead organising?I'll let this idea sit for a day or two and see what (You) think, then I'll make a thing for collecting proper rsvp's.

I'm assuming you're using a CO2 laser, so I'd recommend that you use a slightly damp paper towel/newspaper over it, along with a very light film of dish soap.
