So, just like the last few times, I've commissioned someone to convert one of my very short stories into a comic. I don't think this guy had ever drawn ponies before, but he did a really nice job. Some people have criticized the leg anatomy here, but I think it looks fine. This comic actually went through three revisions. The first artist cancelled on me, and this guy started over when he wasn't happy with what he had at first. With the prompt "That Last Lingering Shred of Hope" I just had to write Rarity being dramatic while Sweetie Belle dealt with her. She sniffled, and could feel her mascara beginning to run.“I don’t think it matters, Rarity.” Sweetie Belle had thought Rarity would get over herself, but she should’ve known better.“You don’t understand, Sweetie. I-I can’t see how I was caught completely by surprise, but I’m simply unprepared!”“I don’t think he’ll mind wearing the filly clothes you made.” Sweetie Belle was getting tired of this.“I didn’t know I was having a colt!” Rarity wailed.
