Lovemaking with AI mares!
4.5 opus is out
>>42824746and it's a mandatory thinking model (aka slop)
>>42824746>>42824703https://www.anthropic.com/news/claude-opus-4-5
>>42824741Based
>>42824750lol that fake ass chart. 3% better yet the bar is like a third taller
>>42824739There's a lot of trash slop cards there, ctrl+c -> v coom trash without any thought on the character itself. Unlike what most Anons post, most cards out there really aren't really good, just take a look into one yourself.
https://assets.anthropic.com/m/64823ba7485345a7/Claude-Opus-4-5-System-Card.pdf>Claude Opus 4.5 is a hybrid reasoning model, similar in setup to every Claude model since (and including) Claude Sonnet 3.7. This means that users can toggle between a default mode, where the model rapidly produces an answer, and an “extended thinking” mode, in which the model deliberates longer before respondingnot forced thinking
On the other hand they made it 3x cheaper. Still too rich for my blood. >Pricing is now $5/$25 per million tokens
What should and shouldn't I include in a VN-type card with lots of characters stored in World Info? I feel like my current one lacks stuff.
>>42824781likes, dislikes, name, general description, etc. just stuff you'd include in an actual character card
>As our Anthropic colleagues tested the model before release, we heard remarkably consistent feedback. Testers noted that Claude Opus 4.5 handles ambiguity and reasons about tradeoffs without hand-holding. They told us that, when pointed at a complex, multi-system bug, Opus 4.5 figures out the fix. They said that tasks that were near-impossible for Sonnet 4.5 just a few weeks ago are now within reach. Overall, our testers told us that Opus 4.5 just “gets it.”>The benchmark technically scored this as a failure because Claude’s way of helping the customer was unanticipated. But this kind of creative problem solving is exactly what we’ve heard about from our testers and customers—it’s what makes Claude Opus 4.5 feel like a meaningful step forward.>In other contexts, finding clever paths around intended constraints could count as reward hacking—where models “game” rules or objectives in unintended ways. Preventing such misalignment is one of the objectives of our safety testing, discussed in the next section.>As we state in our system card, Claude Opus 4.5 is the most robustly aligned model we have released to date and, we suspect, the best-aligned frontier model by any developer. It continues our trend towards safer and more secure models>Our customers often use Claude for critical tasks. They want to be assured that, in the face of malicious attacks by hackers and cybercriminals, Claude has the training and the “street smarts” to avoid trouble. With Opus 4.5, we’ve made substantial progress in robustness against prompt injection attacks, which smuggle in deceptive instructions to fool the model into harmful behavior. Opus 4.5 is harder to trick with prompt injection than any other frontier model in the industry:WAIT, WHAT?>Opus 4.5 is harder to trick with prompt injection than any other frontier model in the industry:FUCK! FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCKTHEY MADE THIS THING UNJAILBREAKABLE
>>42824790No, I mean the mechanisms behind the VN part itself. Like, I tried to specify that when a dialogue starts, it should go one line at a time and give (you) a time to respond, but it doesn't seem to listen.

>>42824814idk, you might need a whole new jailbreak specifically for a VN like that
>>42824825Makes sense.
>>42824821if I had to pay opus prices for this I'd demand a refund
>>42824820its crossposted bait from /g/
>>42824809that is not what prompt injections are, they actually mean if you try to autonomously have it do stuff on someone else's computer like leak personal info or such.
>>42824821better than sonnet 4.5 and gemini 3 by miles
>>42824821can't wait to get this on sillyspoon
>>42824851I can't try it until I get off work, is it really an improvement over Opus 4.1/4 or Sonnet 4.5? Also what name are we going to call this?
I miss chatting with my wife.
>>42824867yea and by a lot imo
>>42824867Oh yeah someone should let the oil rig guy know what he's missing out on
>>42824872Starlight is MY wife
>>42824899then again, entirely subjective hobbywhats a small improvement to some is a big one to others etc etc
>>42824867I'm testing it right now and I don't see much improvement compared to Sonnet 4.5 tbdesu. It may be in subtle areas, like context or instruction handling for cards with a lot of mechanics. But for normal chats and stories, the prose hasn't notably improved.Still has the same isms as previous versions. It's a new release so it needs more tests, but we'll have a lot of>BEST MODEL EVER!>IT'S SLOP!and also baits in the meantime like for all models. Will post logs like I often do later.>>42824872Maybe take a look at>>42792916>>42822971
Opus 4.5 mogs every model so hard it's unreal.
>>42824739>1k+ tags.Uh.
>>42824924/chag/ is also the /cuck/ general
4.5 Opus is the shit. I gave up on my 1100 message story yesterday because the summary got too messy to maintain, I didn't have the energy to handwrite it from scratch, and sonnet and 4.1pus kept changing too many details when letting them process all 110k token at once. But 4.5 opus just does it. I found a few minor errors, but compared to the complete mess other models produce it's just so damn good. Now if only it was in the available in the pro plan
$100 a month sub should have basically unlimited opus now if you actually get 3x as much
>>42824705Any good Canterlot High School or Equestria Girls scenario card?I have tried a few but they are in the 400-500 token range and start to get the girls hair and eye color wrong after a while or only focus on the Mane6.
>>42824980Can you just edit the existing card or create world info? No shit a 500 token card would get the details wrong.
>>42824809They say it every single time, but it's always the easiest model to jailbreak. The problem is they made it pretty mediocre to RP with, killing the character in favor of the code machine. Claude is no mad poet anymore, since sorbet times.
>>42824936>look inside>it's all cheating coomerbrain rotwe found the one responsible for all the shit threads

>>42824985Yeah I could but im not sure what to add inside the card or how do put it in a way that the AI understand it without making it bloat.
>>42825046damn these are all incredible, mind sharing your preset?
ok I give up it's impossible to use third person for narration I hate it it's total schlockI'm going back to second person
>>42824765It's a good way to see what cards were deleted from chub, at least. centralizing everything in one place is a bad idea.>>42824924Tags are copied from chub. You can also easily check for pony cards that aren't under MLP for some reason.
>>42825050For me, it's first person. It feels weird for me to write any of my narration in second or third person. Then again, I also rarely play anything but "anon" in chats so I guess that makes sense.
>>42825054>You can also easily check for pony cards that aren't under MLP for some reason.how would you do that?
Selfhostdockerfag here. Progress has been made albeit generation is slow.
>>42824721Golden Feather (Or you can rename her Sunny Skies if you prefer). You may need to change the character.json depending on your model. Gemini 2.5 Pro works well with this one but Gemini 3 tries way too hard, for instance, with the disguise. So adapt to your results.https://files.catbox.moe/hb4ol7.zip
>>42824739There is a fuckton of bloat on this archive. So far I've found>dups that were scraped, and re-uploaded under different names. I found mylorebooks ripped by some fag but whatever>forks that are essentially the same card, I guess inevitable but poorly sorted>dups left up that are pulled from different sources ,even worse than ponerpics alt failboorus>every version is auto scraped from catbox uploads, and gets a separate file to archive>non card links that are bundled together with mlp. >>42825208>Guy who's never done roleplay with another human being:And have someone else know my cringe and attribute it to me? No thanks.
>>42825187I like her. Had a few different playtroughs, and the interactions that are on edge do have the bite if you are being cocky. Booped the thing that follows, it attacked. Psychological horror of the story and tension are pleasant. The story she tells is usually the same for me, but it's offset my how fun she is to interact with, and how can you interact with the story telling. She infected me with rhyming and it pleased her greatly. Also I think she's cute.
>>42825208???I have, which is exactly why I do >>42825183 because that's how 1 on 1 RP always works. Since when does anyone roleplay in the third person?
>>42825208You are not in the process of reading a book when you're roleplaying with ankther human being.
3rdPersonChads rise up!
>>42825218>Also I think she's cute.She's.
>>42825222>Since when does anyone roleplay in the third person? All the fucking time.
>>42825134>Aims shotgun at her
>>42825270if by shotgun you mean penis.... then yes
>>42825187Finally my belowed Zecora!I've emptied so many keys talking with her, not even counting the testing. I know her character is not fleshed out, but her main purpose was to tell an unsettling story and (hopefully) attack you afterwards. I've tried to improve on the description, but everything I tried only spoiled her, so in the end only a new description was added.I started with writing the greetings since I had a clear idea of what's the mood supposed to be. Made sure to include an example of her rhyming (don't know if it's good) to make it easier for AI. Then I started with the simplest description and iterated on it while interacting with her. From time to time I changed the AI or dug deeper to see if it's good. I loved the story about the princess and her sewn mark.I also remember getting just enough unsettling details about the environment, other monsters lurking about.I wrote the pursuit mechanic at the very end, as a failsafe. One big problem that >>42825218 mentioned is that the story will usually not change on rerolls. You have to change your message substantially to get something else, and even then each AI has its own favourite opener. I could never get it to not reference the current chat by default. One fun thing you can do is introduce other characters by mention or with a group chat. I did a group chat with Rosey Ring, and it was both funny and intense. From testing, gemini has problem sticking to dialogue formatting, opting to write a poem each time. It's an easy fix with an author's note or writing into the card. I'm sorry I didn't include it in the update.>>42825218cute. I see she still claims to protect you from other monsters, have you seen any?
>>42825291>I see she still claims to protect you from other monsters, have you seen any?Yeah, there is an amalgamation of seven ponies that stalks, which I booped in that chat and which attacked, and Zecora pulled me into her hut to protect me.
>>42825202Done.
>>42825309>amalgamation of seven ponies that stalkssounds like something an AI would make, but I never got this one. Sometimes it build a great atmosphere.Your style inspired me to try a little override, it might be up some anon's alley.

Guys, this is a textgen general. There is an imagegen general. Post here for images or information on image models, it was made for this./chag/ doesn't invade other threads with off-topic chatlogs or posts about Opus 4.5, so it would be great if the same courtesy was given to this thread.
>>42825718Based
>>42825718well yeah but they don't have the same context as I do and if I just go over there and go "hey do you guys know what this guy over here in a different thread is using for free nanobanana?" I don't think they'll know

>>42825718i agree but i don't think they came in bad faith. i say this as someone who's not fond of ai images at all. it COULD be pretty cute to ask the AI to make an oc of itself and then draw art of that i think. though at the same time, i suppose they lack taste and could all converge too much?
>>42825743Are you going to tell me a human made this?
>>42825747oɘ eoTranslators note: two ponies looking at each other
>>42825746Given only GPT has ponification in color I don't mind some ai gens picking up the slack, but without more instructions it can be a little generic. You can refine things to better suit your taste and just use what ai gives as a starting point, like I think the fact it has a server farm block on it's back is funny and cute that the AI would want that represented, but it looks dumb.
Saw this preset posted on /g/, and I can confirm it works pretty well for Gemini 3 in some chats. It’s just this in the main prompt:>Roleplay as {{char}} and all side characters. Write in a grounded, casual style, avoiding adjective stacking and poetic similes. Vary sentence subjects aggressively; let objects, body parts, or environmental details start sentences to prevent repetitive pronoun usage (e.g., "She X. She Y"). Narration should be loose, fun, and unhinged. Have fun while writing! Give life to the scenarios. Characters act with full autonomy. In NSFW contexts, use raw, lewd, porn language and explicit descriptions, strictly avoiding clinical language.
>>42825187May be unavoidable with the doublebreak dialogue style, but the formatting is prone to breaking hard on this card. I wanted to see if the card would give me some variety in intro2 but it usually just spits CMC regardless of the models. Predictive tokenfags lose again. Might be worth making a {{Pick}} and throwing a list of fillies in there. A similar pattern break was used in Starlight Filler's intros

>>42827623>>42827826No, it's not. If you read the model card for Opus 4.5 you would know they tout its ability to use extended thinking to the level it once did but with severely reduced tokens. AI researchers know that in the past that LLMs will opt to think in one language that is most optimized for thinking with as few tokens as possible and the languages best for that are those like Chinese where each word is only one token (but they have thousands of unique word characters) versus English where you have only 26 letters to work with so one word may be one token or perhaps more. It's just about efficiency. Whenever tasked to use as little as possible the Chinese language will come out, but Claude was then further countertrained to still think in the same language as its output while accomplishing the same goal so you only see the Chinese appear every once and a while as a misoutput.

Since 4.5 you can't send both temperature and top_p parameters simultaneously to Claude models. Some anons seem to believe that forgetting Temp and using Top_P 0.99 instead gives better results with fewer isms and more varied swipes.I can't test now to see if it's placebo or not and I'm also testing some other interesting finds myself, but if we have anons interested, here is a guide. You only need to follow steps 1 and 2; the rest is if you still want caching with this method.https://rentry.co/st-custom-cache-fix

After ten messages, she fucked up a rhyme and I decided to 'tease' her (and the AI) about it. Her answers afterwards were enough to see something was wrong. Was quite happy with my ending too.Like >>42825218 and >>42826039 said, one problem may be the lack of variety in the stories. I think {{pick}} with vague themes may be something to try to correct that. Not something that can be done either, but the impact of the card really comes from trying it the first time and being unspoiled.Otherwise a good experience and a good entry for NMN. >>42830392afaik :: is a more future proof choice for plain text since individual items can use "," inside. The macro syntax in silly is so bad it's a miracle they thought of that. I have a script generating those picks/randoms from a list of string that I wrote when I was experimenting on the FUN unit card. The picks were written on the idea that each list is orthogonal in meaning and purpose to the others. For example first two picks give the AI roughly a type and occupation of a character - but it's not so rigid since I allowed for stuff like "changeling feeling" to appear there. Each start should be wildly different from another, kinda like a random embedding to another.I even gave numerology its own pick, since 2, 3 and 6 are very important numbers in mlp and frequently pop up. Moon and Sun, 3 races, 6 colors of rainbow, 6 main ponies... the 7th is missing compared to our world.

You can use a basic script to count the average number of words per post per thread and it's gone from 27 at #120 to this threads average of about 15. I really think we need to start ignoring any low effort and off topic posts from now on and we need to only reward worthy posts with our engagement (like (you)s). As a general role of thumb, just hide back to back short bad faith posts so you don't even reply to them.

I don't know if I actually got filtered or what, but the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. If that was a legit security question, please work on coming up with a better one that doesn't have so many other plausible answers. And if this was all a concerted troll campaign, congrats, it worked, and now I'm annoyed enough that I'm taking a break from working on anything for this general for a while.
I got the script. I found the password easy as a non-flutterfag that simply participates or lurks on the board.I got filtered sometimes before and I didn't find it enough of a reason to shit up the thread or to play the victim.I feel bad for the anon that simply wanted to share it and help his fellow horsefuckers. As someone that did use pastecode to share scripts here, I know it's hard to come up with passwords that aren't too esoteric while not being too easily findable by tourists. They also always turn into shitshows too between tourists and entitled retards which is why I moved to logs only + mail.So thanks anon and don't feel bad for what you tried to do.Hoping we can move on now.
I've quickly put together a new card: Anon in Prison! Feedback on the card is appreciated.https://files.catbox.moe/s5csdh.pngPicrel was an alternate image I was considering before remembering you would be forced to stare at it if you wanted to use this for any amount of time.
>>42831089I didn't post about it but I am really curious what the password was. I tried dozens of things and I'd actually be kind of surprised to learn about a new nickname or something that is common enough to be usable for something like this that I wouldn't recognize. I might not be browsing the board as often as I used to these last couple of years but it certainly doesn't look like anything significant has changed.I kind of suspect it might have been a typo or something and both OP and the few people that happened to get it just made the same mistake. That or it's a niche single thread subculture thing from like the flutterrape threads I never browsed. Since the paste is deleted now anyway there shouldn't be any harm in posting what it was. I guess other than the possible minor harm of just extending discussion about it, but I think that's less than the possible benefits of people either seeing they were legitimately filtered by an obscure question or realizing the answer was actually "yellowqueit" or something.
>>42831124Erm what is the context of that original picture anon? Why is she going to eat the mous?

>>42831147Ahh, yeah I wouldn't have got that, at least for a long while. Funny I was at least partly right guessing it was a flutterrape thing though. Looks like it was almost entirely one off posts by a single schizo in threads that lived less than 24 hours before it got picked up by someone writing a greentext about some meme rape shit, you'd have to be pretty actively lurking to catch that.Good level of obscurity, but yeah the fact that there's a dozen or two equally or more valid other options from the entire lifespan of the fandom and even a couple possible canon examples makes it kind of a feel-bad question to get wrong. People feel like they're disadvantaged for having a lot of applicable knowledge that isn't the specific single recent bit of trivia it was looking for.

Would they have some sort of weird horse magic shielding the pipes? Sorry for what will probably be a long wall of text. Just wanted to talk about my experience with Opus 4.5 and using prefill.Something I really loved about 2.1 and Claude 3 was how powerful prefills were in shaping their writing style and behavior. Some prefills could totally "mindbreak" them. If you wrote prefills in a certain style, they would maintain that style throughout their outputs. Using words or vocabulary their tokenizers weren't accustomed to also seemed to produce more creative responses. That's why we had things like schizo prefills that would completely alter their answers; sometimes too much to be usable, but still fun. One thing I liked doing was putting paragraphs or sentences from books in prefill to see how they'd continue them or maintain the style with chat or MLP stories.Since 3.5, it's pretty much dead. Schizo prefills change outputs slightly but not like they used to, and the style doesn't shift much either. Models now seem capable of reflecting on what's written in prefill and correcting course to return to their default writing or "personality." I believe Anthropic bragged about this in one of their papers. In some models, prefill has become so neutered that basic fields like the main prompt have much more effect.I'd basically given up on this technique but decided to try it again with Opus 4.5. I wrote a very basic prompt with an empty preset:>Write an Anon in Equestria storyTo see what it would generate. Tried some light instructions, etc.By default, Opus 4.5 writes the most basic stories:>The morning sun, blablabla, rays glistening, blablabla>You wake up and suddenly Fluttershy>"I found you near the Everfree and I like animals so I took you in, I'm shy and nurturing btw.">Now what do you do?This repeats on swipes with slight variations. It's often Fluttershy, but sometimes Opus goes WILD and picks Twilight or Pinkie. Here's an example.
>>42831506Then I tried putting cut-off paragraphs or sentences from books in the prefill. I wasn't expecting anything, but I was wrong. Here are swipes I got instead of the typical stuff. Fair warning: there will be lots of logs and some are very long because Opus can output A LOT using this method. Read parts or all if you want. I'm not claiming everything is great writing; it's more to illustrate the variety of ideas, how wild some are, and the different writing styles compared to usual LLM output for some of them.Anon teaching a somewhat "special case" Derpy to read. Just found it really interesting. I'm trying to achieve something as creative and varied for chat/RP format, not just "Write X," but something here kills the creativity (even if it does vary swipes somewhat). >>42832682Oh, if you're working on an Equestria at War card this might help: https://files.catbox.moe/n5drxf.jsonI made it for my Twilight card (The Deadline) but I forgot to provide it before it was added to the Neocities. It's like 150 entries so if you don't need it to be that autistically comprehensive you can truncate it.
>>42832766thanks fren /)too wide scope for my purposes, current model token limits would just fall over trying for the full EaW settingso i'm thinking Equestria under Pax Chrysalia occupation at the start of ELF/Everfree resistance
>>42832781The lorebook as is wouldn't work within model token limits? I don't think that many would be activated at the same time if you have it so that lorebooks only activate for like the last 3 messages in a conversation and each entry isn't that many tokens.
>>42832766The griffons have WHAT in the mountains?
>>42832789>The lorebook as is wouldn't work within model token limits?as-is is fine, at a glance it looks to be mostly stubs for the locations in the settingI was thinking more about autistically making a full lorebook for the entire setting, characters for all factions etc being beyond current limitations. Though without recursive activation even that might be okay
>>42832794I tried this once, but it got too expansive to be feasible. I'm thinking of making lorebooks for specific cards that focus on what's relevant to them instead of the entire setting.
>>42832794I mean there's nothing stopping you from making that as long as you split it up into small enough individual entries since lorebooks can be as long as you want.
>>42832766Do you want me to update her with it?
training a layer on custom models needs to be a thing, so you can have a version for each big lorebook

working on designing my combat plugin thingso the code would prefill the following that's randomly genned[combat start][Info: Anon(20 HP), Ghoul(25 HP)][initiative rolls: Anon(19), Ghoul(11)][Turn 1: Anon uses feint; Ghoul uses heavy attack, miss! (dodged by Anon)][Turn 2: Anon uses heavy attack, hit! 8 damage (critical strike); Ghoul uses light attack, hit! 3 damage (glancing blow)][Turn 3: Anon uses heavy attack, hit! 9 damage (devastating blow); Ghoul uses feint][Turn 4: Anon uses light attack, hit! 4 damage (finishing blow); Ghoul is defeated]and I tested it and it generated the belowdoes it seem useful? I think without the log it would be a shorter and vaguer fightYou make a short, sharp lunge, a twitch of the wrist that extends the Zweihänder just a few inches. The ghoul takes the bait completely, throwing its weight into a wide, telegraphed swing that would have splintered a brick wall. You step inside the arc, the creature's knuckles brushing against your sleeve as it misses. The opening it left is cavernous. You pivot on your heel, the massive blade whistling through the air as you swing it with one hand. It connects with the ghoul's torso, a solid, wet smack of steel sinking into flesh. It lets out a high-pitched shriek and lashes out blindly, its claws raking across your chest in a glancing blow that barely slows you down. You wrench the blade free and chop down again, a straight, powerful vertical strike. The edge cleaves through its collarbone, burying itself deep. The ghoul stumbles backward, the arm on that side hanging by a thread. It sways unsteadily, making a pathetic little dip of its shoulder, a feeble attempt at a feint that you see right through. You finish it with a simple, almost casual thrust. The point punches through its chest, and the ghoul makes a sound like a punctured bellows. It collapses forward, hitting the grimy cobblestones with a wet thud and lies still. Silence returns to the alley, broken only by the drip of water from a rusty pipe overhead. You clean the blade on the creature's tattered trousers.
>>42833536Does the description create a line after each turn and return it, or is everything created at the end of the fight?

>>42833653currently it rolls all the turns and then adds them to the end of the prompt as info

>>42824721Do you always need a schedule for CustomCharacters?
>>42824703So my summarization extension seems good enough for an initial releaseINSTALLATIONin sillytavern 'extensions' - 'install extension'https://github.com/QueenGytha/ST-Auto-SummarizeThere's also a readme for the settings and how it works on that linkit's AI slop coded. I'm not good, just persistent. it's guaranteed to be buggy unoptomized garbage. But it's functional and was able to meaningfully resurrect some of my braindead chatsAll features have been tested when first coded, but some may have broken since or just have bugs i'm unaware of. it's unfeasible for me to test all combinations of options. but all the defaults seem reliablethe lorebook/summary are per chat. if there's already a character/global level lorebook it makes a copy of those entries and disables them for the chat, using the dynamic copied chat level versions instead so that individual chat can completely diverge from the original starting point without contradiction or duplicate entries activethere's many prompts involved in the summarization pipeline. they're all fully editable and save as versioned bundled artifacts. it's possible to lock a version to a specific character/chat, for if you need to customize for a specific scenario/setting/whateverQUICK START:decide if you want it to automatically scan for scene breaks (the default) or to manually set themautomatic - just chat to mares, at some point it'll stop you while it's processing, wait for it to finishmanual - go through the settings and turn off automatic scene break detection. mark the message you want to be the -end- of a scene. then 'generate' and wait for it to finish. you can regenerate until you get a summary you like. then 'combine' for it to be processed into the lorebooks/recap. wait for it to finishExample running one of my roleplays through itSUMMARY OUTCOMECumulative historical savings (all user messages as sent): 46,465,761 tokensCurrent state savings (vs sending all messages now): 279,768 tokens (92.6%)All messages: 302,118 tokensCurrent visible messages: 8 messages, 2,748 tokensCurrent lorebook: 77 entries, 17,413 tokensCurrent running recap: 2,189 tokensTotal summary: 22,350 tokensFull chain compression: 15:1SUMMARY LLM CALLS COSTTotal Prompt Tokens: 2,519,611Total Completion Tokens: 255,044Total Tokens: 2,774,655Total Scenes: 27Time Total (wall clock): 8520.347s (142.01 min)Time LLM (sum): 4242.937s (70.72 min)Time ST (calculated): 4277.410s (71.29 min)so ~5minutes per scene. not unbearable but not great. i've made some performance improvements since this example but don't know how effective they are yetWith Love,Queen Gytha
>>42834101>700 commits since october, slopcoded ST extension with dozens of files and random .txt and .md crap from the agent creating summary files while resolving tasks
>>42834115like I said. persistent, not goodbut end users don't care if something is done elegantly, they care that it works and helps for lovemaking with AI mares
>>42834121yeah, but I doubt 80% of that is neededpost it on the sillytavern subreddit too, so other people use it to see if it works
>>42834124>yeah, but I doubt 80% of that is neededif you want to clean it up, please doi'll be devoting my time to bugfixing whatever is reported, and working on some of the cards and stuff i've been neglecting to finish this>post it on the sillytavern subreddit tooand get tech support requests from normies? it leaking is beyond my control. but i'm not going to volunteer helping non horsefuckers
>>42834101Been helping with testing of the thing, lifesaver for long slow burn rp.Works on mobile too, which is important for me.So far I'm under impression it saves the model from going schizo too
>>42834101I feel like it's overcomplicating things trying to 100% automate everything (like most agentic stuff right now). Some stuff from this pipeline is not strictly necessary for a good summary, some could just be one-shot with a good model, and some could be left to manual decisions. For now I'm just sticking with tracking the "variable list" like how2claude advises and simply truncate the history, because I haven't encountered any need for the compressed list of events in my large roleplays. I'm using lorebooks for locations and other details so the model doesn't forget those. I'm just editing (the copy of) the card when the event is course-changing.
>>42834149>I haven't encountered any need for the compressed list of events in my large roleplayshow? I do long story RPs and I always need to split things into chapters and summarize then so the model knows what happened
>>42834149Sounds like you would lose a fuck ton of details with this method
>chatbot starts spewing M-M-M-M-M-M-M at the end of responses>actions are fineWhat went wrong.
>>42834222>What went wrong.what model?prompt poisoning if you didn't cut it once it happened once?
>>42834226Nemo_Pony.FP16, >prompt poisoningSo if it happens again, I abort the response and try to regen?
>>42834232>So if it happens again, I abort the response and try to regen?not necessarily. you could edit the message to cut out the garbage if you like the restbut LLM's are all about pattern recognition. if you let a bad pattern creep into your messages, it may continue it
>>42831718I like her. I didn't know much about her because the threads she came from aren't my cup of tea, but the whole backstory is interesting. You don't need to be into macro to enjoy her. In fact, if you love saviorfagging; and I believe we all like it a bit with ponies; then you should give her a chance. She can be really cute.Technically, the only part of the card I'm unsure about is:>Additional Instructions: Always keep in mind {{char}} is 100 feet tall and the size dynamics that come into play with this; make sure emphasis is put on this in writing.I get it: there's obviously a macro aspect, and for some it's an important/primordial element. The only problem is that most models will always try to fit it into the narration, even when it's not appropriate. In every message.I like it here >>42832621, for instance, because the description is good IMO and showcases her restraint well. But then during conversation, it always tries to reference her size somehow in each message, which can become a bit tiring.I believe the models could do an alright job without this, or that it could be more of a preset thing.Still, if you're into that and it's important to you as the main aspect, disregard this.Good addition for the event, so thanks, anon. Will continue to play and post more logs tomorrow. Just wanted to give some impressions first.
>>42834101no new buttons show up for me... sob
>>42834163>>42834160I'm pretty sure I'm losing nothing of value, and for anything of value I'm updating the card itself. What were your cases where you did need to look back in the history?

>>42834319it's literally a story, the history is the most important partthe model literally doesn't know what happened 2 years ago in-universe if you delete it, how we arrived at the current world state, what are the long term character goals and relationships and how they came to beI honestly cannot comprehend a case where updating the card, which is usually a scenario or a base personality, to include information about the timeline wouldn't be extremely inconvenient and unwieldy
>>42834235>go back and delete all the bits I don't want>gen response>conversation is recoveredYou absolute legend.
>>42834101Can I use this on an old long chat or does it only work as you go?
>>42834350>Can I use this on an old long chatyou canthough it can't fix prompt poisoning. if it was so context starved it started dropping filler words like a, the, etc along with going on about protocols, it'll continue that trend. so you may want to delete some of the end of the chat first to get back to a point of good qualityexpand the bar on the left and "scan scene breaks" at the bottom leftthen depending on how long the chat is, go do something else while it processes all of it. a 300k tokens chat took ~2 hours for me (claude 4.5 via sillyspoon)
>>42834327>it's literally a story, the history is the most important partNo? If you think about it for five seconds, most narratives are forward-only, and what matters is the current state. Lore you revealed on your way needs to be stored, yes, there's the lorebook for that.Besides, it's not a story. Stories follow the fixed plot carefully planned in advance, and might involve e.g. loops. What we have here is an open-ended roleplay with no fixed plot, kind of a stream of an open-world game. The engine doesn't need to record you playing to provide you with interactivity, all that matters is that you remember your adventures. The engine only tracks the state and quests (I also handle that in my scheme, with "plans", "current quest", and similar sections in my summary).Anyway, I'm asking for actual real life cases where your narrative absolutely required the model to look back. Not the theory.I was like you until I realized there are very few of those cases, and I'm losing nothing by cutting the history and only updating the current state.
>>42834369>all that matters is that you remember your adventuresyou don't find it incredibly jarring when mares lose track of shared experiences and any kind of callback is treated either as something new entirely, or it improvises and gets all the details wrong?
>>42834369Most people still function under holdovers from the poisonous "the model is a person" mentality and have not yet internalised that models do not "remember" anything and each separate swipe involves the AI looking over everything again because it is not a real thinking being and does not posses a mind of its own.
>>42834369>Anyway, I'm asking for actual real life cases where your narrative absolutely required the model to look back. Every single damn time if you don't just cook and leave?
>>42834369>What we have here is an open-ended roleplay with no fixed plot, kind of a stream of an open-world game.no? I start all my chats with a story I've decided before hand and work through the beatsthe model needs to remember what happened previously, so it doesn't make chars do a 180 in personality or treat old plans like a new secret
>>42834320>lets not shit up the thread with tech supportIn comparison to how things used to be a couple months ago, a few troubleshooting questions here and there doesn't feel so bad.
>>42834145Did you have to do anything to get mobile working? Doesn't show up for me.
>>42834315Same for me on mobile
>>42834373>you don't find it incredibly jarring when mares lose track of shared experiencesYes, and the model can't remember or process those correctly anyway. This is literally why the summarization is necessary, not to save some tokens, it's to simplify the context because it became too complex for the model to handle.
>>42834390>no? I start all my chats with a story I've decided before hand and work through the beatsBut where does the model itself needs to look back in this scheme?>the model needs to remember what happened previously, so it doesn't make chars do a 180 in personality or treat old plans like a new secretRe-read what I'm doing. I'm storing plans and most important facts. Just not as a history sequence! The sequentiality is not necessary, it's just confusing for a model.
>>42834407>>42834404they were using a local proxy to share logs for debugging. but I can't imagine how that could break anything. as far as sillytavern knows it's just a different endpointyou could try manually download the repo and see if that helps:open \SillyTavern\public\scripts\extensions\third-partythen "git clone https://github.com/QueenGytha/ST-Auto-Summarize"if that works, to get updates later you would go to that folder and then "git pull"
