>Rainbow Dash and Applejack shove at eachother trying to escape in time, further away from the safer side of the street the crowd in the road retreated to.
>They really shouldn't have been spilling into the road like this in the first place, and Derpy was the only one who was far back enough to really be in and danger, outside of your horny self who is already backed away into safety.
>The same can't be said for Derpy, who gasps as the truck is now swerving right towards her.

I sat down as instructed and commented "Well that sounds easy enough."

"I didn't recognize him and he started charging at me. I saw he had a knife. So I waited until he was two steps from me and I took a step forward and straight armed him with my right palm while guarding with my left. His neck acted as a fulcrum and took his forward-moving feet off of the ground. Then I guided his head into the floor. I was not gentle."
"Seeing he was dazed, I kicked the knife away and briefly considered what to do with him. The Disciplinary Committee were the closest authority figures so I grabbed him by the ankle and dragged him face down back to them. Then I saw our guys were in basically a standoff with the other 5 raiders. So I built up some speed and threw my attacker at his buddies."
"They buckled and Adagio and her ladies secured them. And that was the end of it."
>Rainbow was smiling and saying "That was awesome. But why don't you sound more excited about it?"

"Well, it was self defense, so I'm not ashamed of anything I did to protect myself and others. But my attacker was a lot weaker than me so I don't feel beating him was an accomplishment. "And the other five couldn't really move while defending themselves from the Disciplinary Committee, so they were sitting ducks. So again, not a great sense of accomplishment there."
Then I suddenly had a realization. "Oh snap. Fluttershy I'm sorry. I should have asked if you were okay with me telling that story. Are you?"
>Fluttershy responded with a bright "Oh yes, perfectly fine. Although I do like that you aren't trying to brag. But defending yourself, us, and the school are all good things."
"They are." I said. "I just would really prefer not to have a reputation for violent things. This is a new school and a new chance to be a better me. Being peaceful is much better. It would suck if that was ruined because some clown not worth a name attacked me."
"Switching to a more pleasant topic, this is really nice sitting here with you girls." I said in a very relaxed tone. "I'd basically forgotten how nice human contact could actually be before you girls started hugging me."
>Rainbow lazily said "Oh yeah. Hugging does sound good. Just a sec, I'm gonna switch."
And she got up off of Anon's lap, turned to face him and straddled his lap and put her arms around his waist and found space on his shoulder to rest her chin.
>The girls silently marveled as Anonymous seemed to accept the new positioning. Rainbow had just set a new standard of full frontal contact!
>The rest of PE passed mostly uneventfully because the girls didn't want to scare Anonymous away from eating properly.

Anonymous was a little taken aback by the unexpected forcefulness of the statement and simply said "I-I'll do my best?"

This is a working farm and a lot of the equipment we use can be dangerous even if you know what you're doing. So please don't wander off and for the love of everything don't touch it if you don't understand it! For now it's best if you have me or a family member with you at all times around here."
"Spend time around a pretty girl or risk death or dismemberment?" I asked. "Hmm, that could be a tough choice, but your house, your rules." I said with a smile.

"Just trying to figure out which is more dangerous is all." I said.
>Sunset fired back with "My King, after helping take down six boys intent on murder and mayhem today, I don't think you get to claim you're afraid of danger."
I quibbled back with "Technically I was just assessing." before I realized my mistake.

And so we have another installment of How to be Dense!
There was a pic of the aged up Crusaders as cheerleaders that was the 2nd pic that helped inspire this story.
Now playing with character ages is all well and good, but I needed a narrative reason to do so.
And then it hit me that the main cast could come in as freshmen, which gave me a clean starting point, and the Crusaders could be juniors.
But what advantage do the Crusaders gain by being older?
Why they can drive of course!
In high school, having a friend that has a car to drive is awesome!
So if I was going to go THAT route, the car needed to practically be a character in it's own right.
And so the Pussy Wagon was born!
Guys are to keep their hands visible while beneath the blanket the girls are allowed some international flavor..
You know,.. Russian hands and Roman fingers!
Other names considered for the Pussy Wagon were the Cherry Popper and the Virginity Sacrifice.
The Crusaders and Billy will continue to figure in this story.
Oh right,.. Billy.
He's um, he's been dead for around a year and a half at this point in the story.
Some may know and most probably don't, but Billy Banks was an OC I used in Duties of the King.
(Original is kinda pushing it honestly. He was a mini-me of Anonymous for the Crusaders to pursue and form a harem with.)
Is being dead going to stop him from having some effect on the story? Hell no!

They really didn't deal much with the home life of the girls.
I want to say Applejack got the most home life exposure if only because all of her immediate family was in EQG.
We saw Maud as Pinkie's sister of course.
In my head, the Cake's are a foster family for Pinkie.
That's because a school is required to make sure the students are being properly cared for and Pinkie clearly demonstrates the baking skills she would have learned from the Cakes.

I had this update ready back on Tuesday but the previous thread was on it's last legs. Then I took my laptop on the road with me but didn't bring my charger and it's been long enough that now I laptop can mo longer hold a charge without it. So I couldn't update until now regardless.

“Yeah, If I may speak candidly, I’d say she’s on the spectrum.”

“She was always awkward with the others at times, always tried to look for the ‘scientific’ answer as opposed to the ‘right’ one. If that makes sense.”
>Alanamous is unmoved but seemed interested.
“She... Her heart is in the right place, but societal pressure seems to push her to make some dumb decisions.”

“And sometimes she’s thrown a curve ball and she never sees it coming.”

“Everything going well with you and Twilight?”
>You just ask to see how she reacts.

“Now we’re talking!”

>Alanamous, however, was much much faster than you.
>Now her strikes were faster than before.
>You can see a fire in her eyes.
>Some of her punches whiz past your defenses and you can hear the air whistle with her fists.
>Perhaps you should give up.
>You instinctively try a left punch out of panic.
>She catches your fist in between her two forearms and throws your arm down.
>She put enough force into that move it pulls your upper body in.
>Once you do so, you notice her quickly rear back and the next thing you notice she connects her right fist into your right eye.
>Her strike sent you back a few steps before you lost feeling in your legs and you tumbled down to the matted weight room floor.
>Goddamn that was a hard hit.
>And you know for a fact that she didn’t put everything into that punch.
>You are sure if she hit you with more force, it definitely would have shattered your orbital bone.

>Sunset continued "Then when he finally gets to the cafeteria to have lunch with us for the first time today, he starts rattling off rapid fire deductions about the attack, why we were attacked, what their targets were, and why we'll be attacked again! I want him as a full member of the team! His tactical and strategic abilities will absolutely be an asset!"
>Apple Bloom asked "Really? That's not the normal arrangement. Although it seems fair to say after today that he might be able to handle it."
>Sunset replied "You're right. It's not normal, but very little about him has been normal from the get go."

It's going to be awhile yet before I willingly touch another hot dog though."
"Over time I got a little better. I can follow instructions on a box or a recipe, but compared to what I see here I guess I just went with a minimalist approach."

Anonymous stunned the room when he said "No Big Mac, it's not cool. Yeah I can fight NOW, but I didn't have some kindly Mr. Miyagi showing me how to do it. I learned by getting beaten, humiliated, and knocked into the dirt. And I know that we as Americans glamorize violence, but it's really NOT glamorous. And being able to hurt people doesn't lend itself to a good career path either. Most of what it leads to isn't on the correct side of legal. And dying of old age isn't often accomplished."
"Now you compare that to what you have HERE. You're learning a trade that HELPS people. One you can be proud of. One that's easy to see value in. Meanwhile I'm unlearning bad habits. Relearning how to interact with the world. Oh and I need to find a respectable career path before I finish High School."
>As Granny loaded up a third plate for Anonymous she said "Thank you Anonymous. I'm not sure Big Mac would have really listened to us if we told him fighting wasn't cool. You're going to be a good influence on him and I'm glad the girls brought you."

Fortunately, once you learn what to look for, most folks are open books. Next you're going to ask 'Well how much do I have my King? So I'm just going to go around the room."
"My Queen you've been in 2-3 fights. Applejack has 1 under her belt. Big Mac has zero. Apple Bloom reads at 12-15 and I can't read Granny."

"There are two possible reasons." I responded. "I'm struggling with the best way to say this but the first guess is that time may have altered her body language. The second reason exposes an important limitation. This ability is based on your own body language at those levels of experience. So if someone has significantly more experience, you can't read them because you don't know how to interpret what you see. Just another reason to give her the respect and reverence that she deserves for many other reasons as well."

They never lorded their authority over me or tried to coerce me with it. They just gently suggested where I should be with the girls."

>Eventually I managed somehow to clear my third plate and said "Okay, this has been very wonderful, but I'm pretty sure I'm full now. Thank you again Granny for all of the incredible food."
>Granny simply smiled and said "Oh you're full? Oh that's a shame. It's time for desert and Applejack made apple pie."
"A-apple pie?" I asked with my mouth watering anew.
>Applejack looked disappointed as she said "Yeah it's an old family recipe that's won a lot of awards. I was sure hoping you would be able to try my pie."
"Your pie sounds wonderful." I said "Maybe I could fit a small slice?"
>That got a round of chuckles from the entire table.
>I got the impression I was on the receiving end of an old joke.
>But who cared? The pie looked incredible!

>And Applejack put a scoop of ice cream on top! "I hope vanilla is okay?" she asked.

I somehow managed to eat it all while telling Applejack that "Your pie IS wonderful!"

Then the meal was done and I asked "Granny may I please help clean up?" as was only proper.

Hello everyone and welcome to another installment of How to be Dense!
This week we have a song and some psychology.
This entry is much smaller than the last two for the simple reason that a good break point came much quicker.
I hope the character key to indicate who was singing was intuitive enough.
Lots of names that begin with the letter "A".
I went back and added this song in.
It's filler, but if I don't have songs in every so often then my concern is the critical ones will be to jarring and take you out of the story.
