Hey /mlp/I was recently made aware of the existence of two separate MLP ttrpg systemsTails of EquestriaandMy Little Pony Roleplaying GameDoes anyone have experiences running or playing these systems, as either a GM or player, which one did you prefer? what about the expansions? etc etc.Any particularly memorable stories or campaigns you've participated in?I have also found difficulty in finding copies of the Tails of Equestria sourcebook, if anyone knows or is hosting the sourcebooks/expansions for either (though ideally both) could someone point me in the right direction?I'd love to try and pick it up for myselfCheers all!

While running the starter module in the Renegade book, my Pegasus player got struck by lighting while flying in a dragon costume over the parade and the crowd had to evacuate from him bashing onto ever other float causing an Inferno.

>>42842235Tails of Equestria is hardly a game at all and more of an interactive story you get to RP in and also there's some rolls.The rules are hardly rules at all and there's a lot of things that are poorly or not at all defined and it's very easy to break the system to become extremely OP. And then there's the friendship tokens.It can still be an amazing time as long as you don't set out to powergame and make builds but to create any play as characters.

I do have some funny stories related to it though, specifically to a problem player I had. Anyway, you'd be better off running another RPG in the My Little Pony universe. >>42845913It's the smart dump stat since body is used for attacking rolls, defending rolls, radiation resistance rolls, sneak rolls, lockpicking rolls, and anything else that's related to strength, agility, or dexterity. Just the fact that it is the combat stat you can use to both attack and defend makes it better, tho I guess that depends a little bit on your GM.
