So I had a chat with Gemini trying to solve my problem of not being able to make characters move and have lipsync at the same time. Basically infinite talk is trained only on people who are not moving which means you can't use it for many scenes.The solution we came up with was that for our first step we use any image to video model we want for the motion. In this example I used wan 2.2. And then we do video to video with infinite talk + wan2.1 with our audio clip for our second step. If this was actually a good clip I would then move on to step 3 to upscale it.I used arkinson's workflow on civit for wan 2.2 and AIKSK's workflow on civit for the video to video lipsync.This process is necessary if you want to make actual movies with this stuff.

It's just the fact that the entire process is reduced to just asking for a picture instead of actually trying to learn something and applying that knowledge. That's also what traditional artists enjoy about the drawing process: you learn and progress in skill and notice steady improvement and that's fun. I noticed the same with my gens over time (and also the little traditional art I have done). If I don't have to put in any work at all it's completely meaningless to me.

Very strange thing I just discovered: the words "hermione granger" only use up 2 tokens, one for each word, in the CLIP tokenizer. Normally long words that are encoded with a single token are reserved for very common English words like, say, a word like "dramatic". By comparison, they use 7 tokens in the T5 tokenizer.
