Not done yet but working on a new misfit pony fanfic staring a new misfit pony.Carapace Glitter had a normal early life that was until she got her cutie mark.Carapace was always different from the other ponies she never thought the same way about “creepy crawly” things the same way the other foals did. Things like worms, slugs and bugs grossed out the fillies where as the colts liked them but they also thought they were gross witch Carapace didn’t appreciate. No pony seemed to understand how awesome these creatures were not even the teachers or her parents. One day as she was after school she didn’t come straight home instead she took a detour. She had read in one of her many books on insects that it was this time of year that the beautiful Crimson Butterfly was coming to her town as part of its yearly migration and her wanted to see them with her own two eyes not just in a book. She also read that their favorite flower the Yellow Heart Rose grew in large numbers near the forest. All the little ponies were told to stay away from there as it was filled with dangerous animal and monsters but she didn’t care she was determined to see these butterflies herself but this mean staying hidden from all the adult ponies who would try and stop her so she, as sneaky as she could took the back roads and trails until she got to her destination the edge of the forest.Carapace started to look around for some sign of the Crimson Butterflies or Yellow Heart Roses, pulling a large reference book from her saddlebag. Finally, after many minutes of searching she saw a cloud of red fluttering in the distance and ran toward it. It was just what she was looking for hundreds of Crimson Butterflies feeding on a Yellow Heart Rose bush.

She swallowed hard and pulled her first aid kit from her bag that her mother always insisted she take with her everywhere “just in case” before approaching the creature slowly telling it she only wanted to help and asking it politely not to bite her. To her surprise the spider let her bandage it’s leg and it somehow seemed rely happy at the help.The spider left soon after but something almost as strange would happen to Carapace moments after it disappeared into the trees her flanks began to glow and she realized she was getting her cutie mark. She was so happy she ran straight home she couldn’t wait to tell her parents the good news but their reactions weren’t what she had hoped. She was honest with them about her little adventure after school but they didn’t seem to care they were far more concerned about her cutie mark saying thins like “What are we going to do about this?” “What can we do?” “This isn’t good” “This is a disaster” “What are the other parents going to say?”Carapace had been so happy but that had turned to sadness now as her parents fought and pointed at her. What had she done that was so wrong? After all every pony gets a cutie mark and no pony gets to

She would start her own charity humanly removing insects and other pests from pony’s homes and businesses free of charge releasing them back into the wild. This would make her the enemy of every exterminator as they could never match her price driving most of them out of business. She lives a simply life now on the edge of the forest where she runs her charity and occasionally teaching others about the wonderful world of bugs and putting up with young ponies who get dared by there friends to ask to see her cutie mark.
I wrote a short green a few years back about neets surviving an apocalypse where magic was dying and they left to space in arks as janitors/maintenance ponies whilst the actual ark ponies were frozen. I really wanna continue that concept, but I'm not sure where to take it, they had a tendie and ranked gaming-based economy.Any ideas?
