>>42871880While I'm sure there's an irony to this on purpose, it kinda just makes me like the stallions even less as from SH onward, the end period of the original love triangle, ever since Apple bottom and care package showed up it constantly felt like it was just ripping out whatever it thought worked in the yuri stories(fusion child, character develops grander power than necessary by attaching themselves to an alicorn, twilight learns empathy again despite already learning it, at least 3 direct 1:1 jokes) it constantly feels like whatever magic & tension their plot had back when it was just Big Mac, Soarin, and Braeburn and from then on the gay plot was just shoving in new characters and throwing move after back to back movie to try and see what new characters stick but bloating the cast while skipping over gems that could be built on like Sombra or Future Soarin(even Arinos and friendship) and it made me just no interesting in their story episodes and movies since that whole marriage episode was literally their best one in a long time as it was just focusing on the cast we had.I keep wanting to like the stallions but they always do this shit and glaze over the aspects of set up or even build up as shit just happens and back in Outbreak they literally tole and then recycled the DoTS gun joke 3 times in one move and now this movie is just recycle 90% of DoTS with far less of the build up(kinda just dropped the actual cool break up of Applepackage early) and, even if I'm never on his side, Rarity gets this weird aspect of always being part of the gay plot but they never give her real attention or anything to do half the time than be a weird gag part of the team who's participating but never really driving the plot like everyone else. Back in DoTS & S&B it was her to really set things off with Twilight by restarting their friendship on one hand while then allowing Twi to gaslight the rest back into being friends.

The whole Soarburn thing and all the Apple family drama was all his own after all. Try drawing comparisons between Infection and Outbreak to any mare episode that came around that time and I don't think you'll find all that much. And if you say that the most you can see are similarities in some jokes, that's literally nothing when both of them have very similar senses of humor. I personally think they both can create compelling narratives to their respective arcs.

Now, the peak has been peaked, the contrast of 'lol' to 'woah' can't be done as starkly twice. What's come since has been up and down but the best stuff has been really good, but it's in contrast to something that was - in contrast to before it - incredible. So... yeah. I believe the musicians started having a say in what went into the videos themselves so the content began to revolve around the music instead of the other way around. Tamers 1 clearly didn’t like this direction, which would explain why he stays away from them. From his perspective it probably felt restrictive or that the creative process was no longer fully his. This also explains why the Stallion episodes (which are Tamers 2–led episodes) take so much longer to release. If the composers have to write music first and the episode is then built around it, or Tamers finds a song he like and builds it around that, production naturally slows down. It would also explain why each Stallion episode tends to introduce a single OC and then quickly move on to the next one rather than to develop characters long-term like Mari.There are only 7 Stallion episodes since S&B, about half of which use the composers’ music, while there are 16 Mare episodes. The Stallion episodes take longer and come out less frequently and after multiple account deletions, Tamers 1 realized that staying tied to these composers was holding everything back. To be blunt, the composers were much smaller creators than he was before the deletions, yet they seem to be ones benefiting heavily from the association. At that point, it makes sense that Tamers 1 would decide to cut ties and push Tamers 2 out entirely. Tamers 2 eventually returns, but only after realizing that the composers were reaping most of the rewards from the collaboration, rewards that arguably should have gone to the creators themselves.

Every creator crowdsources ideas sometimes, but that doesn’t mean those people get a say in the video. There’s a massive difference between “what if this happened?” and “we have to structure the episode around your music." The issue isn’t collaboration it’s how much influence that collaboration had and who benefits from it. If Tamers 1 felt the content was being slowed down or shaped around external interests that he has no control over in this a fictional world that tamers 1 and 2 co-operate, he absolutely would have a reason to be against it.
