We're finally updating from 1.20 to 1.21, and will be resetting the world in the process.
I will be making a backup of the 1.20 world save prior to doing so, going to try to find somewhere to host a download for it but be aware that the save is 30GB uncompressed so it might not be available any time soon.

It's actually much easier than minecraft to progress and do things and the in-game guidebook helps a lot more, but the combat can be a bit off-putting as it puts more of an emphasis on preparation and can seem as incredibly deadly in both ends.

We need copper plates and rivets to get our first steam boiler.
For a steam engine we could do with (relatively) cheap copper, I don’t know if metal types make a difference when it comes to the flywheel or steam engine’s output though.
For the boiler I was thinking of doing a horseshoe design for ease of refueling.

If possible investing into panning machines would be very good too, since those can get us metal at a relatively constant rate.

I tried dousing the fire in water but it did jack shit, and quickly lept onto the wooden tool racks, then the wooden staircase beam and crate, and leapt to the roof.

From what I've seen in the changelogs, they've reverted the issues with fall damage. You need to fall 4.5 blocks before taking damage now instead of the previous 3.5. Seems like complaining worked.

should have halved the skill rates on at least some skill trees. xskills is getting tryhardier and tryhardier; you no longer get any XP from the mixing bowl in cooking, for example, and farming is still painfully slow. farming especially should be at least doubled, lest everyone become a berry picker. it's idiotic how actual grown crops give practically the same amount of XP when picked as berry bushes when you need to pick at least a thousand just to get to level 1. they should give 10x.

Skill XP increased by 3x.
Buffed farming XP rates from 0.1-0.15 to 0.3 for Commoner, forager, and gatherer because all three should reasonably be good at that and commoners were literally farmers for 90% of history.
Set cooking XP rates to 0.3 for all classes because its cooking lmao fucking anyone can cook and being a miner doesn't make you retarded it the kitchen. (most rates were either 0.1 or -0.15)

Last server was way more active since people usually stayed in the same building and made it comfy.
In this server everyone’s just ran off and doesn’t wanna see each other, iirc there’s 2 people way up north, 1 guy way down south, 2-3 guys who usually stay around original spawn and god knows where everypony else is
