>>42885503Dunno, but their website's programming is ass. I don't know if they fixed it since, but there was a very simple way to view every person that a user is following. Deleted users also seem to have their pictures remain up (the author field just says [deleted]) but I'm not sure if they're still included in search results. Often when searching for something I would get blank placeholder fields that when clicked on would give me a 404. Not sure if that's art that belongs to a deleted user or just art that was deleted and their database didn't update yet.

>>42885534I think a bigger problem with scraping their site is going to be timeouts and the fact your bot needs to use an account to see all images, and their TOS explicitly states "Prohibited Conduct. BY USING THE SERVICE, YOU AGREE NOT TO: access, search, or otherwise use any portion of the Service through the use of any engine, software, tool, agent, device, or mechanism (including spiders, robots, crawlers, and data mining tools) other than the software or search agents provided by Civitai". So if you want to scrape their site for content you will have to be sneaky about it.

Even if you automate some of all this it's still going to be a ton of manual labor. And for what, archiving blobslop?Just look up actual good pony gens by hand and upload those to the boorus. A curated collection is much more worthwhile than harvesting every AI pony picture ever made. ESPECIALLY because it's AI and thus easily replicated.
