And either way, Winona and Opal are definitely getting meat from somewhere, and we know Twilight's owl eats meat since Spike uses that to try and frame him for killing a mouse in the library. So regardless it wouldn't be a foreign concept to ponies. I can imagine ponies like Rarity or Applejack even finding it cute since it would remind them of their pets. Maybe they'd treat Anon like a really big dog or cat.

It feels like I'm already dead, like I've been dead for a hundred years. But the flesh won't rot, just the brain. So large as to be practically conceptual, at least to my little moth soul, the tiny and angry and disgusting little moth soul that's been past it's expiration date longer than the body it inhabits has been alive.
