New green, was going to post last thread, but decided to wait since it was close to bump limit. Here it is for the fresh thread.

>All over your hands and face, in your hair, dripping from your side.
>No bandages, no dressing, nothing to stop the bleeding but your shirt.
>Tearing vines from the trees as you stumbled through the woods in a blind panic, sloppily tying them around yourself in an attempt to apply more pressure to the wound.

>And if you hadn’t stumbled into Applejack’s orchard to die, you wouldn’t be.

>Her voice is tender, soothing.
>Just hearing her talk makes you feel relaxed.

>It’s shakier than you’d intended.
>The scent of soap fills your nostrils.
>It smells like AJ and her family.
>Makes sense, they probably all bathe with it.
>You like the smell, something about it is just… comforting.
>Your heart is starting to slow down to a normal pace again.
>You can feel Applejack’s breath against your skin with how close she is to you.
>Her nose grazes your skin, and she gently nuzzles the scar that manticore left you with.

>Since the communal bathing thing was normal here, most tubs were made to fit multiple ponies, and with the fairly high sides, the water comes up to your shoulders when you just sit normally.

“It’s nice. Actually, your tubs are a lot bigger than most ones back home are.”
>She looks at you with an expression of mild surprise.
>”Really? Shucks, I figured y’all would build everything bigger than we do.”

“Most tubs are only really meant for one person sitting in it, and these days they’re usually only about chest high-ish when you’re sitting in them.”

>Applejack is surprisingly careful with her massaging, and whenever she does get a bit more forceful, she switches to rubbing with her fetlocks.
>It’s a bit odd feeling, but it is genuinely enjoyable.
>Guess these ponies are pretty used to working with those things.
>It actually does feel a lot better than you were expecting.
>Maybe you will start doing this more often.
>It’s nice just being close to her like this, and Applejack always seems to know how to make you feel better.

>After another brief hug, she takes up a wooden ladle in her mouth, and begins scooping up the warm water and pouring it over your head, rinsing out the shampoo.
>You run your hand through your hair, feeling its softness.
“Feels good. Guess it’s time for me to start on you now.”
>You grab the shampoo bottle again.

>You don’t even try to hide how self-satisfied you feel by her reaction.
>It always puts you on cloud nine whenever Applejack is so obviously pleased by something you do.

“Nope. Guess I’m just a natural at washing horses.”

>It’s similar enough feeling to human hair, you suppose.
>It sort of reminds you of when you used to play with your mom’s hair as a kid.
>Once you have Applejack’s hair thoroughly lathered up, you get to rinsing it out.
>You don’t bother with the ladle, instead just cupping the water in your hands and pouring it over her mane.
>Rinse, brush through with your fingers, repeat until her mane is shiny and smooth.
>You look on, satisfied with your work as you feel the hair in your hands.
“So, you liked it?”
>Applejack nods eagerly.
>”Ya did good sugarcube. Probably the nicest mane wash I’ve had in a long time. Think you’d mind washin’ the rest of me? You could probably go over me right quick with how easy you can reach everywhere.”
>You have to admit, washing her everywhere else does make you feel a bit nervous.
>Ponies have fairly different sensibilities than what you’re used to, so you have no idea where on her body is and isn’t appropriate to touch.
>But Applejack was pretty excited to finally get you to agree to this, so you’d hate to say no.
“Sure, I can do that.”

>She’s damn near falling asleep as you work the soap into her coat, resting her head on your shoulder as you make your way down her neck.

>She even starts to gently nip your shoulder as your fingers rub her weary muscles.

I have a similar experience. I remember seeing the show in its heyday and have been on the chan since the 2010s but only watched the show and came here in 2024. Before then, the only character design I could remember was Applejack. I didn't even know Twilight was the main character, though I did remember the opening of the opening theme. Not an appulfag but it certainly seems like she has a bit of mental staying power.

Yeah the fact that shes blonde and has green eyes feels alot more relatable to people design wise. I think some people may assume Rarity is some "frenemy" or "bully" type character like Bonnie from Kim Possible just from a glance. I've heard people assume that either Dash or AJ were the main characters because to them Twilight seemed like a voice-of-reason side character.

Even the most unskilled drawfags can draw Pinkie's mane to a decent accuracy. It's just bubbly curls. RD's rainbow is easy to maintain because she just borrows the colors from the other M6's palettes, maintaining visual cohesion. Unless you're trying to draw screencaps straight from the show, you practically need to make Rarity's mane 3D for it to make sense. She also has a gradient in her mane. She wears eyeshadow and has a unique eye shape that only 2 other characters have in the show. I deeply regret we never got an Applejack story that had a magic item as cool as Apple-Crazy's Apple. It's such an easy episode layup too.

>Applejack is honest but runs into several situations where she can't convince others she's telling the truth, outside stuff makes them doubt her and not believe her even though she never lies.
>Kicks the tree of Harmony I mean, randomly finds a magical apple that when she holds it, makes anyone she speaks to believe what she says 100 percent. It doesn't change the world, it just makes it so if she says "The sky is purple", whoever hears it will be convinced the sky was purple just a mere second ago and it changed back for some reason.
>Big song and dance that eventually has her realize it's more important that she earns their trust then relying on them just believing in her all the time, because she does get it wrong even if she's not lying. She can say what she believes to be the truth, and something happens to make it a lie.
>Lesson about accepting that just because you believe something and are speaking honestly doesn't make it true, and it's healthy for someone to trust you but also have doubts in case you're wrong.

I once had dream that there was a new MLP movie, the funny thing it was like a CMC movie. But Applejack was there in surprisingly something like an antagonistic role? Well, more like the plot was Somepony Watching Over Me but stretched for a whole movie, ya know, the typical conflict that starts because AJ and AB had a fallout and she run away from home with her friends and run into all sorts of misadventures far away.

Sounds like not the best role for Applejack but then I was watching the movie, (how to even describe watching a movie in a dream I have no idea) but what happened was pretty funny, because AJ then has the role to follow Apple Bloom and friends to the ends of Equestria to get them home safe and sound and in doing so she kinda stole the show. Because I remember she was basically bulldozing any threat that got in her way, the formula basically was that the CMC would get to a new place and get out of there with kid's shenanigans and then AJ arrive moments later and fucking destroy whoever tried to do some shit with her because she was in overprotective sister mode, it was hilariously exaggerated, she basically was the Applenator.

From the way you describe it, I'm imagining her being like Dennis from the Spongebob movie. Like where Spongebob and Patrick barely manage to sneak their way out of that biker bar, then Dennis shows up and just casually uppercuts the owner through the roof and wrecks the place, then immediately leaves. It also would help her to be more easily forgiven by the audience because all she wanted was to get her sister back and apologize for whatever conflict they had in the first act, so it was easy for AJ to look sympathetic. I woke up before the third act, most of what I remember is that middle part with the formula and a vague idea of how the movie began. I don't think I got to the end and just had a vague idea to where the story was going.

And the hook of that story sounds pretty interesting, like AJ has the dilemma and is torn between the pragmatism of using this item to take the safe road and get trust, avoiding the scepticism because she ultimately wants others to believe her telling the truth which she is but then again, this is not earning trust and would be forcing others to her wants, it's dishonest even if she ultimately was using it as a mean to communicate a truth. Sounds like a good lesson.

Hello again, Applefriends. I recently commissioned Cold Blooded Twilight for this one-page comic about a very short story I've written, and I figured I'd bump you with it. She's a little big here, twins is what I had in mind, so I'll put her in spoilers this time. His expression work is always great, especially in the penultimate panel here. This story was an entry in Flashfic, where the idea's to write 150 words at most according to a prompt, and this month's was "They're Revolting!":

After some pouting, Applejack relented and ate it. Then her hat was kicked, for a start; she grimaced. “Oh sweet nelly, they’re revolting!”

After some arguing, Apple Bloom relented and went to get her an apple. “This ain’t gonna happen to me when I have foals, is it?”

Hey, these chatbots are supposed to be good at writing, where it's even harder to tell when they're used, and yet I've still got people commissioning me for stories, none with Applejack however. These machines don't actually think, so they can't really nail things the way an experienced man can, but sometimes their output's still pretty nice after someone cleans it up. I commission a lot of different artists, and Cold Blooded Twilight's easily the fastest; the guy's like a machine. That comic took him about fifty minutes, on stream.
