I'm an old fan who dropped FIM long ago, around midway through season 4. Over the last few years, I've been slowing getting back into MLP, primarily through the older gens. I'm thinking of picking up FiM where I left it but I'd rather ask if the rest of the series (plus the EG sequels) is really worth the watch, or at least has some comfy episodes. I also know the fanbase is past its glory days, but there wouldn't happen to be a pre-social forum to discuss all MLP Gens that's still active, chill and way less horny than this board? (If not, then I'll take /mlp/ over any subreddit)

>>42941387Season 5 and Rainbow Rocks are okay, season 6 is mid, season 7 is bad, season 8 is terrible and season 9 is above the previous two but below the sixth. There are a few episodes worth watching in those later seasons like Sounds of Silence, The Perfect Pear (?) and ... yeah, that's about it.

While I din't visit /mlp/ at the time because my english wasn't good enough, this is the only place that retains vibes of how things used to be back then.
