I can't count how many ideas that we threw about or I wanted to do, but never got to do for one reason or another. To that, you mentioned it yourself without knowing. During that scene in Blue, the Twilight Vs Flash scene wasn't planned, Joe was the one who started it yet sadly couldn't finish it in time. Which proved a challenge for me, because the Celestia Burns scene was supposed to be between Celestia and Twilight, student teaching teacher as it was. I'm still quite happy with the way it turned out of course, and the reception was obviously warm, yet I do always wonder where my story would've gone if I'd gotten to write it as I wished.And that's hardly even the most notable one! All sorts of ideas got lifted and lost in translation, and looking back on it I was rather passive with the whole thing. I always wanted to encourage others to join in and make what they wanted to see, so I seldom shot down an idea regardless of how I felt about it. I think the one I remember most vividly was Ladykiller's finale to the AU War arc. Obviously, I've always disliked the idea of death in this story, it just felt so against the theme and idea that I tended to push back against it. But, in the end, he said he was going somewhere with it that would help fit the story I wanted to make of Salt's ascension, so I said okay. Still, by far was more fun overall. Talking with Joe, or Delight anon, and I wouldn't trade talking with the tribbles back during EVO, even though Kuddler left regrettably as he did, for an easier time. I still have that email account, though I've not touched it since. It's so odd to feel so nostalgic, but I do, and I do so with a smile.That said, I do remember quite vividly the one time I actually put my foot down was when Ladykiller-jokingly I'm sure-suggested Pinkie Pie for the Salt Harem. Applejack obviously doesn't fit due to her mostly being a talk-it-out kind of leader, and only reaching the peak of her power and throwing down in the finale battle.Even if there is A self insert in here, they're obviously not the main part of the thread. An Applejack self insert wouldn't need 3, THREE, mini arcs where she learned how to not fuck up in diplomacy.

Every little story kept us alive until we could close the book with the ending it deserved, thanks.

Applejack and her family was “melted” for an entire thread because CMC anon got busy with life. At any point, we could’ve ended up with another Sombra-Anon case of a story just plain not getting its resolution as intended as the writer dropped off. We were luckier than we knew to have more than one there to keep it alive
