So what are your guesses for this last unrevealed universe? Tamers mentioned a while ago in chat that some pieces had to be put into place before the ultimate battle can happen. So I just assumed it had to be the Dandy's World one since they've been also adding in-lore explanations of their "Toon Abilities". At least they did it with Astro in the last episode. But also it's gonna take a longer time for some powerful foes to appear. I wonder if the stallion timeline would be considered another universe entirely at this point since Trixie basically re-wrote reality. Also Mari refers to it as "Trixie's World" in the last mare movie. Considering how far away both timelines feel in terms of tone and progression I highly doubt they could reach a middleground to share a single arc, and also there's the chance of them still being considered one universe anyways. After Abyss I don't know how many things need to be put into place now that Twi has been just collecting powerups. My cents are on Dandy's World or maybe Zatch Bell.Maybe Powerpuff Girls too but I thought that might be a given with the Trevor mural.

>>42984470Tricky question. I do enjoy most arcs regardless of the characters. There are some that I wish were more elaborate but filling in the blanks is also fun for me. So far maybe the Starlight arc? I really wish we got to see more of her past before her last movie. Sure her arc is still "going" but to have that as a milestone without it feels unsatisfying. I have the same issue with Clean Sweep and wanting to care about his shit when his origin story is still being gatekept for some reason.What I don't like is characters being dropped man. The g5 ponies were funny. Toola Roola and Starsong sucked but they had an entire episode and it's been ages since they've done shit. Only appearing on a couple stallion episodes. Sunset Shimmer and Wallflower Blush gone. At least Sunset is still being namedropped when Celestia is around. Suri is gone from Coco's arc and I don't know if there's plans for her to appear again. Nothing has been done with Luna since Shattered Harmony. So I'd say the worst arcs are the ones that are left unfinished or have potential for more. But also Tamers likes to play the long game so who knows. I guess those are the consequences of having way too many characters being added. Some just get filtered.

Alright so here it goes my schizo theory. Mostly a follow up from the one another anon posted on the last thread.Since Outbreak Friendship has been appearing less and less so being able to tell what's going on with him was very hard. Arinos corruption started after Outbreak. At least we got to see him like that during S&B wedding and a couple times more after that. So now that we have a confirmation on where Friendship's magic comes from I believe this could be tied to Clean Sweep.My theory is that Clean Sweep got decapitated and Friendship had to stitch him up to save his life. But for some reason he refuses to talk about it. Eating up a fraction of his magic so he has been weakened since then. Afecting Arinos since he depends on Friendship's magic to be alive (This is the reason why I believe he has a personal beef with CS). These three characters have been tied together for a reason and I had my doubts on why CS was discarded so easily. But it would make sense that CS would stick around if he was saved by Friendship. And if you wanna pull my leg to analize the fucking farts, the reason why Friendship couldn't do it on the last episode would be his weakened state. Also pretty much everyone else was fighting with each other during that episode. Im not sure if that graphic means only direct friendships with him can power him up or being around other ponies being friends with each other would be enough. But if that's so, maybe the final resolution would be something cheesy about everyone being friends with each other to power him up. Like a Spirit Bomb of Friendship.

Arinos has been trying to find its place on this world and getting punished for doing so feels a bit harsh so Im hoping there could be another way. I wouldn't want for em to be tied to his creator out of obligation. Maybe with enough power they could work just fine but we'll have to wait and see. inb4 non of this makes sense and arinos will die of clown aids anyways

Abyss has established that Glimmer doesn't like Mary and they are starting a new, with Glimmer being more content and self-aware of what she is doing, but this episode dismisses this resolution. it is almost like Mary's 4th wall intervention was a direct jab at Tamers like really we are back to this shit? then why the hell we had the whole Silksong episode? that what confused me the most. needless to say the dragon powers are not referenced again. the episode feels like it is from late 2025 before Xmas episode and was completed only recently and doesnt have up to date lore. and 4th wall part was added only now in post-processing to address the timeline

I'm trying to spin the narrative that this is an old episode released just now, but that feels like I'm playing 4D chess to explain why a huge plotline from an important episode is now missing. speaking of which, we already had an episode where Starlight apologized to Mary for her treatment (Arcade), and now we're back to square one. then we had the Silksong episode, which also had the same "from the ashes" vibe. now we're back to toxic. either stick to the toxic dynamics and not attempt to humanize the characters at all, keeping them the same abusive, marginalized couple, or truly refresh them and stand by that decision. Sonic and Bartleby work because Tamers never attempted to reboot their dynamics; and despite farts and fights, they genuinely care for each other and support one another - they felt wholesome as silly as it sounds, and all violence was accepted as part of humor and doesnt represent how they really treat each other. here, we keep getting hints that their relationship has changed for real, but then it reverts to the same old cycle. why even try, then? the Abyss episode feels completely pointless nowI'm honestly surprised that people dismiss this as a comedy, thinking we shouldn't care about consistency. back in Sonic Underground, we had The Boys and World War III, which led into each other with numerous interconnecting plotlines. Knuckles becoming more powerful than Sonic was a story arc that ran over several episodes, with each subsequent episode acknowledging this. the slow progression of Knuckles and Sonya's relationship unfolded over multiple episodes. Flora's breakdown and jealousy were hinted at in several episodes (one involved the same Japanese sauna we saw today), and Trevor's parents' death was also addressed lots of times. multiple storylines were referenced and acknowledged. not always in the best way, but it was consistent given the mediumbut with MLP, it feels like nothing ever happens. there are plenty of examples, such as Luna's crush on Celestia, which was a significant thing in Shattered Harmony but was never referenced again - what happened, Celestia just let it slide that her sister is a faggot, no resolution? well okay then. but in my opinion, Mary x Starlight has been a major blunder so far - and this episode left baffled the most. even DWK in his absolutely nonsense series was acknowledging his previous episodes and was cross-referencing them. and it was the abridged series, he doesn't need to do it(blogpost off, I dont get it, consider it a dissenting vote)

Not in power but on bitchiness and ego. Trixie isn't an alicorn like Celestia so there wasn't a power imbalance when they got together. She was actually pretty weak and still found ways to get on Twilight's nerves. I think both have that sort of thing going on when rivals respect each other so much that it leads to other stuff. At least that's my interpretation.
