Raritys cat always looks so miserable. Everytime its onscreen it looks like it wants to be put out of its misery.

it never made sense to me why every other member of the mane six had cute, sweet pets but rarity's was such a bitch. Idk if it was supposed to be comic relief or something but everytime the cat came up on screen it filled me with absolute hate and rage making me want to put the little shit down. >>43055586nope. absolutely not. owlowicious is the only other one to be consistently portrayed as being intelligent on the same level as ponies.tank and opal have very rare moments of vaguely intelligent behavior, but 95% of the time they just act like normal animals.gummy had that one gag in slice of life, which i guess you could count if you really wanted to, but i don't, and he has absolutely nothing else going for him intelligence wise. angel and owlowicious are exclusively portrayed as sapient, and the other characters largely treat them as sapient too. pretty much the only way they aren't treated as sapient is that they're lumped in with 4 regular old animals as "the mane 6's pets" when in any other context, twilight and fluttershy do not treat them like pets, or even refer to them as pets.
