Way back in the day I did play with laser printer toner transfer + etch boards, but these days just ordering a set of 3 from OSHpark is the way to go most of the time. Really happy with the quality and speed of production from JLCPCB too, next time I need a bulk order I'll definitely be going through them

It's a satisfactory proof of concept for an all-in one robot head. For what I need, I don't know if there's pre-made pony robot models that have the whole robot in printable panels. I doubt it. I'd probably have to import the model to fusion360/solidworks to build the robot frame underneath the exoskeleton if I build the body the same way. Alternatively, I've talked to v747 about a robot pony commission, and I have the option to skip the panel modeling if I had a finalized robot body to build a 3d pony model around. I don't expect to get there this year, but hopefully sometime.
