But so far it doesn't seem like there's any plans for them to have another standalone episode. They don't seem to fit in any of the plotlines. Last time they appeared was during Alicorn of Death as a cameo. On a more fresh rewatch I realized this is probably the only episode that feels like it was written by both Tamers (Post S&B movie). Also you can tell they split on the drawings too. Scenes with Hitch at the beggining are clearly drawn by Stallion Tamers (he has a similar hairstyle to Soarin). And scenes with Izzy look really close to Mare Tamers style, also the scenes with Sunny and Twilight. Plot wise you have a mixbag of the typical yaoi dynamics of Stallion Tamers with Sprout and Hitch. A follow up to Trixie's training story arc, in which Twilight mentions it. And basically all the introductions for each character and their dynamics. I think it was a very good episode and I was looking forward seeing this characters again. Definitely way more interesting characters than Toola Roola and Starsong (Compared to their respective episode which was the one before this one). But with how polarizing people seem to feel about Stallion and Mare Tamers it kinda feels like it isn't gonna happen anymore. And maybe that possible episode could have gotten canned because they both settled for different plotlines and would have to actually agree on stuff to make another one.It's so weird that the g5 plot feels so inbetween on the timelines. You have them here on this episode, on the credits of Shattered Harmony, a small appearance during the music sequence on Twiligth figths a Clown and lastly on Alicorn of Death.

Both timelines are so separate in terms of story arcs that even if inconsequential things like this happen to the shared characters I doubt it'll matter. Even if people raise their eyes thinking where "x" character is I think most have accepted there's 2 sets of MLP storylines already. Stallion Tamers has been using the mane 6 less and less with each episode. And if they're in an episode non of them are relevant to the plot. Maybe Twiligth but when was the last time she had relevance on the stallion timeline? The only mare character who actively influences the plot on stallion episodes is Celestia (In most cases). I think the most logical answer to the delay might be that they want to keep the channel running as long as possible and avoid any wrong move that could get em banned again. So that serious editing could be related to censoring whatever kind of content that could put the channel at any risk. It could be anything from copyright music or a scene that's too sexual in nature but it was too hard to cut if it was plot relevant.I also think having another week to pile up on episodes is good. You know I’m not going to go full doomposter over a two week break but if Tamers ever did stop making videos for whatever reason he would just spontaneously leave without a farewell word or a grand series finale.
