Say what you will about Chainsaw Man's ending, but at the very LEAST it did, as the kids say, have "themes and such" that were consistent with how the story was progressing. Even if those themes were straight ass.FIM's ending spits in the face of nine seasons of buildup. It was engineered to be as soul-destroying as possible. Nothing could be worse than what we got.
