I'll be using this thread to post pictures of my knights. I hope if you decide to look at them that you enjoy it. Most of these were painted years ago, when I was a fan at first, but unfortunately life got complicated. I think I want to complete this project since I love it, its my favorite joke, and I want to see it through, So I am making this thread to show some of my recent progress. I am feeling motivated and am hoping to get it done sooner.

>>43145756I ended up filling out the knights errant unit I started planning a full list and even purchasing some models i figured would fit the army perfectly. I painted up to 9 other knight errants. They were the inspiration for the entire project, Since errantry crusades are where knight errants earn their heraldic marks by doing brave deeds. Basically the same thing as a cutie mark and they're also crusaders it was perfect. So i structured a list around Knights errants (fillys and colts), Knights of the realm (earth ponies), Pegasus Knights (Pegasus), and Questing knights (Unicorns). But right as I was getting into a rhythm they axed the setting and killed my faction at the same time as some life crisis hit me. I lost all will to continue the project and entered into some dark times in my life.
>>43145760I would revisit the project about 5 years ago, nostalgia bringing me back, and a chance to test my freehand.I like the theme of roses and flowers that knights have and its quite suitable here.However at the time I was moving around a lot and i couldn't commit to the project, and when I put it away to move again it sat in a box waiting for another few years.
>>43145761This year however, I have rekindled some relationships with some old friends, life has settled down a bit and for the foreseeable future i have plenty of free time. I also have started to play more games again that have motivated me to return to this project. I hate leaving dead ends open, and I feel like I have some unfinished business. So I returned, this time i focused on some favorites and tried my best.

>>43145768Seeing all my currently painted knights is really inspiring and keeps me going, I'm about halfway through the project, I have all the models I need I just have decide on heraldrys and patterns and which ponies I want to feature. there's some that i know that are definitive (Twilight sparkle being a level 4 prophetess on a pegasus, its already made and to paint, but I want to save her for near the end. ) Anways that's all the pictures I have for now. If you have any suggestions or ideas feel free to share.

I guess I could use custom decals, but that would lack soul.

>>43146370/tg/, I will admit that my motivation to paint tends to be tied to how many games I actually get. >>43146379flowers are a common knightly motif, its actually pinkie pie who's the silliest as a jester who's charge is balloons. Also pink at times was considered masculine as it showed warmth.
This is not my flavor of autism, so I can't give you a better appreciation than "looks nice anon", but I'll say those figurines reminded me of pic rel.
My only experience is with ceramics, and these are hard enough to paint, I don't know how you figurine guys manage to get them looking so good
