I've seen a couple people today complain of game crashes. If you're experiencing them - you can (probably) fix them with a clean game reinstall. And by clean I mean deleting all your config files, uninstalling TF2, disabling steam cloud for TF2 (to prevent steam from redownloading your crashy configs) and then reinstalling TF2. Custom content like pony mods is fine, there is an almost zero percent chance it's the cause of your crashing. If a mod is broken it just doesn't work rather than crashing the game.I was also experiencing game crashes until I followed these steps. Now I can play TF2 in an 8 hour session and not crash.

The new admins were told ahead of time that an effort would be made to get the server files but it would take some time before he would be able to access them. Of course not. I would love for him to be more communicative when it comes to these things. Do any of you ever play Team Fortress Classic? I've been actually giving it a fair shake, and realized it's actually super fun.The default keybinds suck though (both general and especially class-specific), so that took a while of tinkering to get how I like.But other than that, I thought it was fun and very chaotic whenever I tried. I must remind everyone that these pony player models are ancient, from around 2011-2012 and haven't gotten any updates in 13 years, its a miracle they are still functional. They were also not made with vanilla TF2 in mind, made for fun servers instead (e.g. poniponiponi) to fuck around, also they lack a ton of animations. Pony servers from the past like MLP Heroes and VS Ponyville opted for larger, bipedal models that mapped to the same bones as the mercs to compensate.There was one server that made more up to date pony player models that are miles better and supports all of modern TF2s changes and has most equivalent animations for things like taunts, however those niggers refuse to allow anyone else to use them, keeping it to themselves. So we are stuck with either these ancient ones, the big bipedal ones or maybe those anthro ones (which may still be broken) as our only choices.
