AI is the future of pony image generation. I bet in 2040 almost all images used on this board will be images that are AI generated since AI is being perfected everyday to create art to look like any normal pony art.
>>
>>43168875
that's AI??? wtfff
>>
>>43168875
In the near future all social websites will offer to generate an image for you to go with your post using NLP. The future is so bright I need sunglasses to see.
>>
In the future all posts will be AI-generated since all anons will be too busy working their 8th job.
>>
>>43168881
check the flames some of them don't have the minecraft pixelation like the two in the front do

>>
>>43168888
>looking at art for more than two seconds is painstakingly scrutinizing
NTA but I always like looking at the details of art because I appreciate the effort that goes into them. I think part of why AI people like AI art is because they see art as something to look at for a second and then immediately move on with your life.
>>
>>43168888
you know you can just circle the specific mistakes the ai made and have it redo them you chunkheads don't even know how to ai properly
>>

Very obviously so, are you guys retarded?

Honest question, if you looked at an image, saw no errors and it was still AI how would you feel? Note that an AI image without errors most likely involved careful inpainting and possible manual editing.

Ai might already collapse by then or at least only be accessible to the elite for practical purposes.
>>
>>43170113
Kek what a nonsense graph. Why would IQ go down the more people exist on Earth? It's a percentage, not an absolute number.
>>
>>43170110
I've seen people who put that level of effort into AI imagegen and there have been moments where I've been impressed by an output, I messed around with StabDiff myself when the tech was pretty new so I don't inherently hate the tech, my opinion's mostly soured from the number of people who want to disguise themselves as a regular artist and make money off commissions by lying to people about their process.
>>
>>43168875
>watermark on bottom right
for what reason
>>
>>43170580
My opinion on legacy artists is soured by elitism, woketardry, excessive pricing, general faggotry, oh I can go on and on
>>
>>43170585
That's fine, you're allowed to dislike and like whatever you wish, I was just explaining my perspective to that anon. I have no interest in a slapfight.
>>
>>43170580
>disguise themselves as a regular artist and make money off commissions by lying to people about their process.
Are there actually complete retards who can't see that people like Celuniamoon are just AI genners??
>>
>>43170580
>lying to people about their process
Nobody is required to disclose how they work.
>>
>>43170592
There are very dumb people out there.
>>43170594
When you're selling someone a product by insisting that you're doing it one way and then it turns out you're doing it another way, you are in fact doing something wrong. False advertisement is enforced by many countries.
>>
>>43170583
You know...
>>
>>43170603
But nobody is saying anything about their process, least of all claiming it's legacy shit. They just say "here's a picture" and you better be happy you get it for a tenth of the price of the luddite.
>>
>>43170580
I appreciate the honest answer.
>make money off commissions by lying to people about their process.
How do you feel about those that are open about it and still take commissions?
>>
>>43171135
>you better be happy you get it for a tenth of the price of the luddite.
A true luddite would be making the art themselves with pencil and paper. Anti-AIfags are mere posers.
>>
>>43170592
Celjewna is just an opportunistic scammer who hides the prompts it uses or the fact it's even using ai slop to extract money from the population.
>>
>>43171135
There are plenty who claim that they're doing it the regular way, especially when pressured by others given that not answering will usually lead to people going on a witchhunt anyways.
>>43172045
I don't love it but if someone's open about what they're doing then I think it's not dangerous, just not something I want mixed up with regular art. All the
>all ai art is theft you guys fuck ai
stuff is dumb, that's not how the tech works in any meaningful sense, but I do get disappointed when I see a new artist hit the scene and get ready to follow them and see them grow as an artist only to realize they're either posting edited generations or tracing over generations, both of which mean the growth I'm looking forward to will most likely never come.
>>
>>43172063
>growth
That's funny, I usually see the exact opposite happen with legacy artists, especially if they start taking coommissions.
>>
>>43172068
It can vary a lot. Some artists settle into something easy, others continuously try new things which means they end up in a style I don't actually enjoy. I still find that experience of seeing how an artist develops enjoyable.
>>

>>43171135
>>43172068
idk if you're the same guy or three separate anons, but regardless, you sound extremely bitter regarding "legacy artists"

I really like AI lots but also get why people don't like it. It's a little funny to me how AI on /mlp/ just turns into this giant slapfight usually. Arguments almost never become like this here, even the anons I've met from this board who hate AI are just like "oh no I really don't like it, it all just feels like slop to me" and they're honestly pretty straight-forward with their opinions. No flame warring shit or anything.

Shit's fine either way, no matter how ya feel about AI. I sorta feel like it's profound irresistible schizo bait sometimes, for people on both sides of the argument.

>>43172097
Oh well shit is it just two guys? The writing style was pretty familiar and that actually makes a lot of sense if real. Was just wondering how it felt almost culturally out of place for /mlp/ to just have a giant slapfight over a current thing. If it's just a handful of anons that are really invested then yeah that explains a lot jej
>>
>>43172268
It's basically just one guy (he likes to shit up the AI thread from time to time, schizos believe it's Darkdoomer) and I like to yank his chain from time to time when he has another hissy fit, but I'm not the only one.
