#005: Lookin fo mo edition>What's /LMT/-A thread for hunting down the fics, readings, art, PMVs, vids, animations, and all other lost pone content that other Anons can't find anymore.>Why does this thread even exist?-I'm just an oldfag who's watched way too much of the early fandom's mountain of work slowly vanish into the void. Creators move on, DA purges accounts, YouTube mass-deletes or age-restricts shit, links rot... FeelsBadMan.png If we don't dig it up and share it now, a lot of it will be gone for good.>What can you do?-Bump, obviously. Previous thread made it a few days but let's see if we can get this one too beat it out.-Post any links, archives, torrents, or mirrors you have.-Most importantly: I know you autists have your own IRL hard drives and private collections. Time to share the wealth and keep this stuff alive for the next generation of Anons._Some_usefull_links_-A great collection of various readings and collections saved from the void.>https://mlpaudiobooks.net/-A decent little fim fiction archive.>https://fimfetch.net/-An index of many different sites>https://all.pony.directory/Any other collections, links, and magnets are all appreciated.
>>43188342One thing to start, heard it in the background of an MLP YTP.A bunch of anons doing some IWTCIRD barbershop quartet songs.Sounds pretty fucking funny.Does anyone know where to look?
>>43188342i have nothing to offer but i'd like to read someof the earliest greens in /mlp/
I remember this RPG in development called Curse of the Lost Kingdom. The sprite work was really good, and so was the combat system, with a counter system.A demo was released with at least 40-50 playable characters. The site is dead today, and so is the YouTube channel. Does anyone still have the demo somewhere? It was hosted on http://thebeansehreport.tumblr.com/ but apparently it was taken over. The YouTube videos detailing each character's gameplay were onhttps://www.youtube.com/user/MrMslusher/videosThe link for the demo was apparently https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4gkBuAOBRB7TWpVN0gtVTFVMDA/edit?usp=sharingI tried the Wayback Machine, but it isn't helping for the demo itself.
>>43188464
>>43188464looks pretty kino, lemme know if you find anything.
I know no one has it, but an archive of all the images from the Pony: The Game threads would be amazing. Those threads were some of the most fun I've had on the board.
Anti slide bump
>>43180838last thread by the way
ALSO, I wasn't around to see the reply, but thank you very much to >>43164124 - very happy I checked the archive. My memory is very foggy, but the basic title of "Everfree" is absolutely what I remember seeing kicking around in my games folder. It's been so long I swore the skills and fancy title screen weren't in the version I played, but the zip for the game includes a ton of in-development videos and patch note webpages that I was able to use to verify that I was wrong about that. Was surprised to see it being so large, but it ended up that that was the case just because of how much of the history of this game is archived in this zip. Was genuinely so cool to see.You reunited me with something I thought I'd never see again and have been looking for for over a decade. This is 100% the game I was looking for and I'm very happy to see it's not actually lost media. Thanks so much. I'm really excited to dive into this later. The other thing I'm still looking for now is GHS_brony or whatever that trade map was from TF2 back when. I had a post about it in an earlier thread and I'm still on the hunt for it. If anyone has it, I'd be overjoyed to be see it again.
>>43189066Thanks PonkChad, hae a (you). I thought I'd lost that one.Ironic, the /LMT/ becomes lost media itself.
Also BUMP,Just hope Luna and the AmeriAnons can keep this thread alive overnight with all the slide threads being spammed this evening.
>>43188342Please link to last thread in OP next time.
>>43188342>lost media thread>none of the stuff from previous threads is archived anywherewhy do you even put in the effort if you're not gonna host some kind of public archive of what we posted?
>>43188802
>>43189401Haha, yeah, this is one of my favorite generals and I'm trying to help keep it alive. Super important idea; I don't want a lot of our history to get lost. The more it's kept around the more anons that get helped with finding something that could be lost to them, otherwise. Really good service being done here.
https://desuarchive.org/mlp/thread/43065368/#43065368https://desuarchive.org/mlp/thread/43132442/#43132442https://desuarchive.org/mlp/thread/43158887/#43158887https://desuarchive.org/mlp/thread/43180838/#43180838Oh, and since you mentioned something about the threads themselves being "lost media". Here are links to the previous four on the archive. Probably useful to keep track of, as there are both posts mentioning lost media that never got any responses or anyone finding it, and posts where anons actually did help find something for others. Makes them useful catalogues for what to keep an eye out for and to find potentially "rare" things that someone had lost at some point.
>>43188342anyone have that vocaroo of twilight counting down from 100 and reciting pi while cumming
>>43191006seconding this, first time hearing about it but now i need to have it
>>43190697Thanks, PonkaBro. Honestly, this is my first time trying to keep a recurring thread going, so I'm a little new to it all; I probably should >lurkmore. But cheers for the advice, I'll post the archives in the OPs of the future.
>>43191006>>43191051I'm both disgusted, yet intrigued. Some anon find this, or 15.ai, asap.
>>43191051>>43191694shit was goodive been looking for it since 2016 or so but no luckim hoping a noble autistic twifag here saved them
Bump
>>43191006I don’t know about the cumming part but I do remember an hour long audio clip of Twilight reciting pi. There was a youtube upload which had a simple waveform for visuals.
>>43191006>>43192643Searching with desuarchivehttps://desuarchive.org/mlp/thread/30119070/#30120324https://desuarchive.org/mlp/thread/30752923/#30753089https://desuarchive.org/mlp/thread/24247891/#24261036All dead. So we can only hope someone saved them.
>>43192657>>43191006>>43192643Nevermind!Found them inhttps://iwiftp.yerf.org/Pony/Audio/Fan-made/Vocaroo/Twilight%20Sparkle/>Pihttps://u.pone.rs/dlncmxcx.mp3>100https://u.pone.rs/kuwmzcwi.mp3
>>43191682No problem! And lurking more is overrated. It's nice to get a feel for the community and all for sure, but I would rather have you contributing and learning as you go rather than holding back and not sharing. Especially if you're making a thread like this which is actually useful and cool.>>43192663Fucking KEK I actually legit thought this would be lost to the void given how insane Anon's description of it was, and the fact it was just a random Vocaroo. Hilarious that you managed to dig it up, amazing and very bizarre find.
>>43192663Damn that's hot. Good job finding these.
still trying to find the full YTP where this comes from, I know I've seen it before but I don't know the namehttps://derpibooru.org/images/3199616
>>43192663no fucking way you found themthank you much for fulfilling my request
>>43192663Damn good work Anon
>>43192893kekI can only imagine how fucking surreal it has to be to run into that shit again after randomly asking for it
boop
>>43192663I think the lack of pussy is getting to me bros...
This looks like fun, I'll check out the older threads later and try to contribute. I got one: Tarby used to have a song called Equestrian Pie, which he wrote in 2011 for the Toastbeard competition. Not to be confused with any other of the 4 parodies of the same name. It's not in any of the big archives, and Google searches are failing me too.
>>43194542Checked https://pony.fm/tarby/content and nothing.Started to check https://web.archive.org/web/20200216182811/http://toastbeard.bronyradio.com/andhttps://rateyourmusic.com/list/TheScientist/a-short-history-of-toast-beard-the-first-28/1/but nothing for now.Maybe check the Wayback Machine competitions link to make sure.
BUMP!
>>43195064
>>43188342I'm having a lot of trouble finding the complete Seeds of Kindness albums, does anyone have them? Even rarer is Kiki's Cancer Fund Album, which is a special footnote in pony history.
