Sometimes I wonder how fun it'd have been if Trixie was Twilight's apprentice instead of Glimmer. Trixie being a selfish, chaotic, narcissist would've played well with Twilight's controlling and mature personality. If only
I feel like the core problem there is that Trixie would have to show some potential for improvement for Twilight to do that and that would sorta ruin the gag you're going for.
>>43194651It would be better than to have Glimmer doubt it herself, fuck up, make things worse, then learn a lesson the mane 6 already learned back in seasons 1-2
>>43194646Fuck no. Trixie returning after Magic Duel was already torturous enough.
>>43194646It would require decent writers so no way it'd happen.
is this a stealth tamers thread?
>>43195211>Sees Twilight and Trixie>T-tamers?!?Yeah, probably.
>>43195211Are Twilight and Trixie having violent sex? If yes, it's a Tamers thread. Are Twilight and Trixie beating the shit out of each other? If yes, it's not a Tamers thread because that's just what mares do.
>>43194646Wouldn't be very interesting, Trixie doesn't really bring anything new over Dash. Starlight filled a niche none of the m6 covered because of her unique personality and circumstances, she learned lessons and grew in ways that the m6 didn't. Worthy students also need to have immense magical potential, that seems to be the bare minimum to be considered for princess training. Trixie's passion is her magic shows anyway, it makes no sense to drag her out of her career and it makes no sense to fix Trixie because Trixie being an asswipe is her whole appeal. Toxic Yuri? Startrix does it better and we get a very wholesome Twistar relationship on top of it. So... your idea would just make everything worse to be honest.

>>43194646Why was Twilight such a bitch to Trixie?
>>43195439She wanted to impress Celestia and thought Trixie would ruin everything like usual.
>>43195395>it makes no sense to fix Trixie because Trixie being an asswipe is her whole appeal. There's nothing appealing about her, I can't imagine actually thinking this way.
>>43195457>There's nothing appealing about herShe's hot as fuck.
>>43195466Yeah, her design is great, not doubting that. I'm not talking about her design, I'm talking about how shit she is as a character.
>>43195478There's a certain kind of person who finds egotistical jerks to be very attractive.

>>43195439OOC writing.
>>43195483Trannies? Narcissists? Both?
>>43197031Not at all, Trixie brings out the worst in people with her unwanted and unbearable presence.
>>43195395>Starlight filled a niche none of the m6 covered because of her unique personality and circumstancesIf by unique personality you mean having no personality besides "I break everything apart at the slightest inconvenience and I expect everyone to treat me like a poor victim for doing so while suffering no consequences" then yes.>she learned lessons and grew in ways that the m6 didn'tShe literally learned nothing. She's as awful of a character as she was when they introduced her, only now she is "redeemed" according to a hack-writer who has not got a decent job since the show ended.>Trixie being an asswipe is her whole appealThat was the problem with her.She was meant to be a cautionary tale about what happens when you let your ego take over you. But Haber never got that and McCarthy at least tried to turn her into a better person by the end of Magic Duel, with mixed results.
>>43197938>She literally learned nothing. She's as awful of a character as she was when they introduced her, only now she is "redeemed" according to a hack-writer who has not got a decent job since the show ended.I love that this applies to Trixie too nearly 1-1. Poetic.
