Despite limitations imposed by rigs, FiM was filled with impactful visuals and great expressions (at least during the first half) that people do not appreciate because they automatically assume anything made in Flash is inferior to frame by frame.

>>43220362The g1 specials are what g1s potential was, and beat anything that came after it in every generation. But yeah g1 was pretty inconsistent in reality. That said nothing beats cel animation. The reason you think g4 "worked" was the excellent modeling. If they had the same models but used cel animation it would be easier for you to see that.
