The documentaries and the interviews around the movies are kind of an interesting watch if you want to hear George's thought process and inspirations behind the scenes. A lot of the hate back in the day came from the RedditLetterMedia crowd and actual brainlet consoomerfags who were just mad that George didn't make A New Hope II (which ironically was exactly what Disney ended up doing, but worse.)

They lied about Vader killing his father and tried to make him abandon his friends so they could kill off Darth.
