As in the concept of friendship. Does FiM illustrate your concept of friendship and if so how and why?

Season 1 portrays it well and season 9 doesn't portray it at all

The way Twilight made friends isn't realistic. Fighting off a world ending threat with other insane people isn't a typical situation any of us will find. It felt cheap and lazy, Twilight didn't have to put any effort to socialize or compromise, Twilight didn't have to learn how to be a friend to earn any of them. 5 loyal friends just happened to conveniently fall right into her lap.

More proof Hasjew should've stuck with the original idea to have an episode dedicated to Twilight properly befriending the others first.

Almost all of the characters are narcissistic assholes.

Sort of? They're certainly friends, just... in a cartoony fashion? Y'know, because it's a cartoon.

Imo, it didn't manage to portray realistic relationships. But, I don't think MLP was trying to be realistic. It's not something I would denigrate the show over.

>your concept of friendship
I don't know if I can explain my concept of friendship properly. Probably a sign I need to think on it more. Maybe I will.
