>>43226087holy fuck, that twilight is huge
>>43226086Pic is one of my favourite pony images
>>43226090She’s a big mare.
>>43226086not anymore lul!
>>43226087Imagine studying architecture and urban development for 5 years and then getting mogged by a third-class concept artist.
>>43226108I've got to finish this someday.
>>43226108>post equestriaI prefer witch in broad daylight.
>>43226108this makes me sad :(
>>43226102>>43226102>>43226102>>43226102
>>43226086There's no homeless schizophrenic crackheads so I imagine it's decent.
>>43226153>There's no homeless schizophrenic crackheadsThat's where (You) come in
>>43226153It is a good place to live, but is a little difficult to travel to other cities. Since it is on middle of the rocky high in the sky, It takes a long time to get to the plains. No pony uses magic for traveling intercity.
>>43226156>Anon is a homeless schizophrenic crackhead for hire.>His role is to act as a cautionary tale for young foals>An informant for the Ponice and the agents of S.M.I.L.E.>And also a form of discouragement to any other hobos or delinquents
>>43226086If I was tasked to kill as many anons as I could and my reward would be the chance to live in Canterlot, I wouldn't hesitate in the slightest.>"B-BUT YOUR TICKET IS RIPPED! PONIES DON'T WANT YOU KILLING PEO-"Celestia works in mysterious ways, nonny.
>>43226167Zeplins bro
>>43226153Boring. The homeless schizophrenic crackheads add flavor.
>>43226086Is it cheap?
>>43226217>On a Mountain with a huge castle with the monarch living inside>Has lots of nobility living in luxurious houses near the castleExpensive.
>>43226086It certainly would
>>43226221It is not very nice of it, I hate to admit. But does it have a big branchy sewer system where I can squat for free like some kind of a gnoll?
>>43226259of course
>>43226086Think about it, it has that clean mountain air, clean streets, great unique architecture, great climate, it looks like an amazing place to live, until you realize that most of the population would be bureaucrats, government workers, representatives or just part of the Royal Guard, so they would all have the personality of either Denver people or DC people, also that airship port looks busy, I'd imagine it would be a pain in the ass
>>43226259>Anon refusal to pay taxes by squatting on the city sewers quickstarts a whole conspiracy theory of green bipedal lizards living underground.
>>43226086>>43226087>>43226089>>43226108 new fag here that is just at the first half of s2.Why Canterlot looks like something straight out from Hidetaka Miyazaki's mind?and for some reason G4 's lore really gives me Dark Souls-Elden Ring vibes despite being all about cute ponies and friendship
>>43226376It's all based on gothic architecture so there are going to be some similarities. I could even draw comparisons to Warhammer 40k.
>>43226376I finished all nine seasons and the show does feel like Miyazaki's work to me too the six elements kinda make me feel like the lineup of bosses in DS1, DS3 and ER for some reason
>>43226466>make me feel like the lineup of bossesmake me remember the lineup
>>43226259>living in dingy stone tunnels full of mare dumpsIts all I ever dreamed of
>>43226086I can boop and nuzzle Celestia and Luna there so yes
>>43226531yeah I can probably also lift celly and lulu with my unicorn magic if I train up to the best that nopony has done before.
>>43226086Yeah, if you're a uni or maybe a peg. Not so much a dirt pone
>>43226376Faust has mentioned miyazaki several times by now so its safe to say he had influence on the equestria we know and love
>>43226990>Faust has mentioned miyazaki several timesSINCE FUCKING WHEN

>>43227755cool
>>43226102For you
>>43227755>Elden Slopchecked but meh
>>43227755>Elden KINOchecked and soul
>>43226376I don't think Faust was inspired by or even heard of Miyazaki and vice versa, but both of them used similar world building techniques and relied a lot on implying things and giving away as little factual information as possible. Then they topped it off with a layer of actual fun (combat/exploration in DS/ER and a strong fun-to-watch cast of characters in MLP:FiM) and got themselves a trap for people to get hooked in and then spend the next 20 years coming up with theories (and copes) to try and make sense of the world they came to love so much.
>>43230490>I don't think Faust was inspired by or even heard of Miyazaki and vice versaShe was.
>>43226086its impossible to have something like this irl
>>43231855>he doesn't know about nanotubes
>>43231855Because settlements pop up in places with easy access to resources and/or trade routes.Canterlot is basically Olympus, a hub for gods to hang out, not a city for people to actually live in.
>>43232736What if this mountain was an island and a sea trade hub a million years ago? The structure on top in >>43226086 sure looks like a modified port.
>>43232375Nanomachines aren't real.
>>43226086No. Big cities are always awful.
