It's pretty clear why Twilight's Equestria failed. Twilight was a pretty shitty princess. Yeah, that was it.1) She was still sperging out full Lesson Zero every once in a while way late into the show, after getting alicorned2) Celestia and Luna were almost defeated several times during the whole showTo me it's pretty clear as soon as a real threat rose, she didn't know what the fuck to do. She probably got into the Royal Library to look for a book about what to do in the case of a friendship-ending event, found nothing, and was done lol. Stupid fucking horse, all those years for nothing.Even worse. Yeah she probably solved those threats when her friends were alive using the elements and stuff, but once they died of old age then she was left alone and friendless and went basically insane.
