Alright anons, aside from the vague allusions to alcohol through the cider episodes, we all know the Mane 6 can't drink because it was a TV-Y7 show. But if they could have, what are your headcanons? Here's mine.>AJ: Drinks cider socially and, rarely, alone after a long day of farm work to unwind. However, she'd never drink enough to get properly drunk because she has a little sister and a granny to look after. She'd want to have her wits about her if an emergency arose. I feel like that's in line with her sense of responsibility.>RD: Gets hammered on a somewhat regular basis. After a wonderbolts show, she's at the divebars with the team putting down drinks like they're water. Probably isn't picky about what kind of drinks. Despite this, she's extremely good at handling her liquor and she never looks as drunk as she is.>Rarity: Drinks red wine most every night. Probably a little bit more than she should, but like Rainbow Dash, the only way to tell she's getting tipsy would be when she starts saying things that are a bit more risque or mean spirited. Has absolutely said something racist about zebras while sipping a glass of wine.>Twily: Doesn't like drinking. She's tried it, probably cider from the orchard, but wasn't fond. At social gatherings you'll find her opting for the non-alcoholic options, but you might catch her having a glass of champagne under extremely special circumstance, such as new years.>The Pink One: It's hard for me to view Pinkie as anything but a child, so the idea of her drinking feels odd. I'd imagine she tried a sip of something alcoholic, thought the taste was gross or "yucky", and spat it out.>Fluttershy: She tells her friends she doesn't drink, but secretly she's the biggest alcoholic of the bunch. She absolutely keeps box wine on hand in her cottage, and I even imagine she keeps a flask in her saddlebag for when she's out and about. Her anxiety and fears are immense, and I imagine the only way she ever finds the bravery to do much of anything is after a shot of liquid courage. She's not proud of that, and that's why she hides it.
Pinkie has absolutely gotten white girl wasted off mixed drinks before but I think she'd really dislike getting sick so she'd make sure the ponies around her slow her down from that point on.
