The whole making daring do real thing really reminds me of that time on star trek where the computer declared its undying love for geordi through a hologram character, but then in a followup episode they redirect the love story onto the real person the hologram was based on and never deal with the computer-romance at all.Has exactly the same kind of misunderstanding feel to it.
If they absolutely had to make her real they could at least have been a little clever about it, like how tintin is based on that one danish globetrotting reporter irl, but obviously the real one never met yetis, ufo's, magic mushrooms from space, or went to the moon. the comic adventures are really exaggerated compared to the real story.
Reading everyone's dumb excuses why Daring Do is bad just tells me none of you understand Dashie as a character. I don't care if you don't like the idea of Daring Do being real, but don't try to justify it by undermining Dashie. You can dislike a thing without making up bullshit.

Fucking Spike is my rent free curse. The things the show could with his development was such a hit and miss. If I don't come up with something no matter how shitty the first draft is, and then I try to edit it as I gain new ideas. Think of it like carving a marble statue.
