It was symbolic to show that the Sirens had accepted they were never going to return to Equestria, and were ready to start appreciating their new lives rather than longing for their old ones. They're still evil, but are trying to move forward after their numerous mistakes. They still clearly loathe humanity and are delighted to kick Sunset when she's down, but they don't waste their time tormenting people or seeking revenge. They don't need either of that anymore.
